أوقفت صالات السينما في مصر عرض الفيلم الكوميدي «فار بـ7 أرواح»، آخر بطولة للفنان الراحل سليمان عيد، بسبب ضعف الإقبال الجماهيري وتراجع الإيرادات.
وحقق الفيلم خلال عرضه 2.5 مليون جنيه، وباع 21.3 ألف تذكرة في 7 أسابيع كاملة، وهو رقم متواضع للغاية، مقارنة ببعض الأفلام المنافسة له، لذا تقرر استبعاده من قائمة الأعمال المعروضة، لاسيما بالتزامن مع أفلامٍ جديدة خلال الأيام القليلة القادمة، وانطلاق موسم عيد الأضحى 2025.
ويظهر سليمان عيد في الفيلم بدور شخص متوفى وجثته هي محور القصة، حيث تظهر للشخصيات المشاركة في الفيلم وتكون عبئاً على كل شخص تقابله، فمنهم الذي يستغل الجثة في أمور معينة والبعض الآخر يهرب منها.
ويشارك في بطولة «فار بـ7 أرواح» كل من: أحمد فتحي، إدوارد، ندا موسى، ويزو، فرح الزاهد، لينا صوفيا، محمد لطفي، محمد رضوان، علاء مرسي، أوتاكا، إبراهيم السمان، شريف حسني، محمود حافظ، محمد الصاوي، طاهر أبو ليلة، نجم الغناء الشاب مصطفى عنبة، دنيا جمعة. والفيلم من سيناريو وحوار محمد فاروق شيبا، وإخراج شادي علي.
وستُطرح للراحل عيد خلال الفترة القادمة 3 أفلام جديدة صورها قبل رحيله المفاجئ في أبريل الماضي، ومنها: «ولاد المحظوظة» مع هيفاء وهبي، و«خلي بالك من اللي جاي» لرانيا يوسف، و«تحت الطلب» بطولة سامح حسين.
وبخلاف «فار بـ7 أرواح»، تقرر أيضاً إيقاف عرض فيلم «استنساخ» بطولة الفنان سامح حسين، للأسباب ذاتها، حيث حقق 3 ملايين جنيه فقط، وباع 24 ألف تذكرة في 6 أسابيع، وهو الفيلم الذي شهد عودة سامح حسين إلى السينما بعد غياب عدة سنوات.
The cinema halls in Egypt have stopped screening the comedy film "Far with 7 Lives," the last starring role of the late artist Suleiman Eid, due to weak audience turnout and declining revenues.
The film earned 2.5 million Egyptian pounds during its run and sold 21,300 tickets over a full 7 weeks, which is an extremely modest figure compared to some competing films. Therefore, it was decided to remove it from the list of currently showing works, especially with new films set to be released in the coming days, coinciding with the start of the Eid al-Adha season in 2025.
Suleiman Eid appears in the film as a deceased person whose body is the focal point of the story, as it appears to the characters involved in the film and becomes a burden to everyone it encounters. Some exploit the body for certain purposes, while others try to escape from it.
The cast of "Far with 7 Lives" includes: Ahmed Fathy, Edward, Nada Moussa, Wizo, Farah Al-Zahid, Lina Sofia, Mohamed Lotfy, Mohamed Radwan, Alaa Morsi, Otaka, Ibrahim Al-Samman, Sherif Hosni, Mahmoud Hafez, Mohamed Al-Sawy, Tahr Abu Leila, and the young singing star Mustafa Anba, along with Dunya Jumaa. The film is written by Mohamed Farouk Sheba and directed by Shadi Ali.
In the coming period, three new films featuring the late Eid will be released, which he filmed before his sudden passing in April. These include: "Awlad Al-Mahzouzah" with Haifa Wehbe, "Khaly Balak Min Elly Gay" starring Rania Youssef, and "Taht Al-Talab" featuring Samah Hussein.
Aside from "Far with 7 Lives," it was also decided to halt the screening of the film "Istinsakh" starring artist Samah Hussein for the same reasons, as it only earned 3 million Egyptian pounds and sold 24,000 tickets in 6 weeks. This film marked Samah Hussein's return to cinema after several years of absence.
