The clubs' audience and their media continue to take us daily on a journey of ignorance, failing to distinguish between the work of the ministry, the federation, the Olympic committee, the association, and judicial committees. So where do we start the awareness?
What is the fault of the Minister of Sports in a club that failed to sign a player, or a team that has not achieved any success even though it is one of the fund clubs? I specifically mean the audience and some media of Al-Nassr who exaggerated in linking their failure to the Minister of Sports. Here, I would like to educate those who are unaware that this linkage is a "clear ignorance." The minister's stature is much greater than this "injustice." As for the audience of Al-Hilal and their media, their president responded to them when they tried to directly accuse the minister and the federation of not supporting Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup, even though the support was substantial.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal does not need praise as much as he needs us as media to be part of this leap, which is now the talk of everyone involved in sports around the globe.
We should not remain silent while we see the clubs and their media blaming their failures on the Minister of Sports, who is innocent of all their accusations and ignorance.
Our Minister of Sports deals with reality as one of his constants, in which the Crown Prince is the beacon and the light that dispels all darkness.
When I say "except... the Minister of Sports," I refer to the fact that linking his name to some very minor issues and starting from them to create a critical space that does not rise to his competence as a minister is an action that we should place where it belongs and not associate it with a minister whose work has justified him, and cannot be judged by media or a "hashtag" built on falsehood.
It is also fine to say to those who practice ignorance and perpetuate it, leading to ongoing insults, that the minister does not hear you, not out of disregard but out of a refusal to engage with a discourse that has no foundation in a thriving phase that draws its strength from its creator.
Flash:
From the words of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince: "As a leader, I must be optimistic every day; I cannot be pessimistic. If I am pessimistic, I should leave the chair and work elsewhere."
