تأهل فريقا الدفاع الجوي وقوة طوارئ عسير إلى المباراة النهائية في بطولة درع الوطن للقطاعات العسكرية 2025، التي تنظمها غرفة أبها ممثلة في لجنة القطاع الرياضي، بإشراف من وزارة الرياضة وهيئة تطوير منطقة عسير، وتقام منافساتها على ملعب مدينة الملك فيصل العسكرية بمحافظة خميس مشيط. وقد تجاوز الدفاع الجوي نظيره حرس الحدود بهدف وحيد سُجل في آخر دقائق المباراة التي اتسمت بالتنافس منذ بدايتها وحتى نهايتها، فيما تغلب فريق قوة طوارئ عسير على القاعدة الجوية بهدفين مقابل هدف في مواجهة تقاسم فيها الفريقان السيطرة على المباراة قبل أن يسجل الطوارئ هدفه الثاني والفوز من ركلة جزاء في الوقت بدل الضائع.
يُذكر أن البطولة تشهد تنافساً كبيراً على هداف البطولة، حيث يتصدر اللاعب خالد موسى من قوة طوارئ عسير قائمة هدافي البطولة بـ6 أهداف، يليه وافي حمزي من القوات البرية، وأحمد حسين من قوة الطوارئ برصيد 5 أهداف لكل منهما. من جانبه، أوضح رئيس لجنة القطاع الرياضي بغرفة أبها معيض الشهري أن المباراة النهائية ستكون الاثنين القادم، الرابع من أغسطس، مبيناً أن ختام البطولة سيشهد عملاً مختلفاً يليق بالحدث الرياضي، مقدماً شكره لقادة ومسؤولي مدينة الملك فيصل العسكرية، ولجميع العاملين في البطولة.

The Air Defense team and the Asir Emergency Forces team have qualified for the final match of the National Shield Championship for Military Sectors 2025, organized by the Abha Chamber represented by the Sports Sector Committee, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports and the Asir Development Authority. The competitions are held at the King Faisal Military City Stadium in Khamis Mushait. The Air Defense team surpassed their counterparts, the Border Guard, with a single goal scored in the last minutes of a match that was competitive from start to finish. Meanwhile, the Asir Emergency Forces team defeated the airbase team with a score of two goals to one in a match where both teams shared control before the Emergency Forces scored their second goal and won from a penalty kick in stoppage time.
It is worth mentioning that the championship sees significant competition for the top scorer, with player Khalid Moussa from the Asir Emergency Forces leading the scoring list with 6 goals, followed by Wafi Hamzi from the Ground Forces and Ahmed Hussein from the Emergency Forces, each with 5 goals. For his part, the head of the Sports Sector Committee at the Abha Chamber, Mu'id Al-Shahri, clarified that the final match will take place next Monday, August 4th, indicating that the championship's conclusion will feature a different kind of work befitting the sporting event, and he expressed his gratitude to the leaders and officials of King Faisal Military City, as well as to all those working in the championship.
