تأهل منتخب الأردن الأولمبي لنهائيات كأس آسيا تحت 23 سنة التي ستقام في المملكة العربية السعودية بعد فوزه على تركمانستان 2-1 اليوم (الثلاثاء) على استاد الملك عبدالله الثاني في عمّان ضمن الجولة الثالثة (الأخيرة) من منافسات المجموعة الأولى في تصفيات كأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً.
أحرز هدفي الأردن علي عزايزة (د:27) وعودة الفاخوري من ركلة جزاء (د:67)، في حين أحرز البديل ماغتميردي بيرينوف (د:90+4) هدف تركمانستان.
وشهدت المباراة الثانية ضمن المجموعة ذاتها فوز بوتان على الصين تايبيه 3-1 على الملعب نفسه، وسجل البديل كينزانغ تينزن (د:62) وسونام دورجي (د:82) والبديل جتسوين دورجي (د:90+1) أهداف بوتان، في حين أحرز لين تشن (د:33) هدف الصين تايبيه.
وانفرد الأردن بصدارة ترتيب المجموعة برصيد 9 نقاط كاملة من ثلاث مباريات، مقابل 6 نقاط لتركمانستان، و3 لبوتان، في حين بقي رصيد الصين تايبيه خالياً من النقاط، وحصل الأردن على بطاقة التأهل المباشر عن المجموعة إلى النهائيات، في حين تنتظر تركمانستان تحديد أفضل أربعة منتخبات حاصلة على المركز الثاني.

The Jordanian Olympic team qualified for the finals of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup, which will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after defeating Turkmenistan 2-1 today (Tuesday) at King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman during the third (final) round of the group stage in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers.
Jordan's goals were scored by Ali Azayzeh (27') and Awda Al-Fakhouri from a penalty (67'), while the substitute Maghtemirdi Berinov (90+4') scored Turkmenistan's goal.
In the second match of the same group, Bhutan defeated Chinese Taipei 3-1 at the same venue, with substitute Kinzhang Tenzin (62'), Sonam Dorji (82'), and substitute Jatsuwin Dorji (90+1') scoring for Bhutan, while Lin Chen (33') scored for Chinese Taipei.
Jordan topped the group standings with a total of 9 points from three matches, compared to 6 points for Turkmenistan, and 3 for Bhutan, while Chinese Taipei remained without any points. Jordan secured the direct qualification from the group to the finals, while Turkmenistan awaits the determination of the best four second-placed teams.
