ناقش رئيس المخابرات العامة المصرية، حسن رشاد، اليوم (الأحد)، مع وفد فلسطيني برئاسة نائب الرئيس حسين الشيخ، الجهود المبذولة لجمع الشمل الفلسطيني.
وقالت الهيئة العامة للاستعلامات في مصر إن اللقاء مع الوفد الفلسطيني الذي ضم أيضاً رئيس المجلس الوطني الفلسطيني روحي فتوح، ورئيس جهاز المخابرات العامة ماجد فرج، تناول تطورات الأوضاع في الضفة الغربية والاستحقاقات الانتخابية الفلسطينية القادمة، مؤكدة أنه تم التوافق خلال اللقاء على توحيد الجهود الوطنية لمواجهة التحديات التي تواجه القضية الفلسطينية خلال المرحلة الراهنة.
وشدد الجانبان على أهمية توحيد الجهود الوطنية الفلسطينية في مواجهة التحديات التي تواجه القضية الفلسطينية، وتعزيز التنسيق المشترك بما يخدم المصالح الوطنية الفلسطينية.
ومن المقرر أن يلتقي وفد حركة «فتح» عدداً من الفصائل، من بينها التيار الديمقراطي الإصلاحي الذي يرأسه محمد دحلان، بشأن الترتيبات المتعلقة بالانتخابات التشريعية القادمة، المقررة في 28 نوفمبر.
وتأتي زيارة وفد السلطة الفلسطينية بعد أيام من لقاء فصائلي واسع جرى في القاهرة ضم دحلان، ورئيس الملتقى الديمقراطي ناصر القدوة، وقادة حركة «حماس»، والجبهة الشعبية، و«الجهاد الإسلامي»، والجبهة الديمقراطية، وعدداً من الفصائل الأخرى.
وأفادت وسائل إعلام أن دحلان عرض على الفصائل إقامة كتلة وطنية عريضة للحصول على أكثر من 50% من أصوات الناخبين، ما يؤهلها لإحداث التغيير المطلوب، وهو ما أيدته «حماس»، فيما أكدت حركة الجهاد الإسلامي دعم مثل هذه الكتلة من خلال التصويت لها، دون المشاركة الفعلية فيها، أما الجبهتان الشعبية والديمقراطية فطلبتا المزيد من الوقت لدراسة المقترح.
The head of the Egyptian General Intelligence, Hassan Rashad, discussed today (Sunday) with a Palestinian delegation headed by Vice President Hussein Sheikh the efforts being made to unite the Palestinian factions.
The General Authority for Information in Egypt stated that the meeting with the Palestinian delegation, which also included the head of the Palestinian National Council, Rouhi Fattouh, and the head of the General Intelligence Service, Majed Faraj, addressed the developments in the West Bank and the upcoming Palestinian electoral entitlements, confirming that there was an agreement during the meeting to unify national efforts to face the challenges facing the Palestinian cause at this stage.

The Fatah movement delegation is scheduled to meet with several factions, including the Democratic Reform Current led by Mohammed Dahlan, regarding the arrangements related to the upcoming legislative elections, scheduled for November 28.
This visit by the Palestinian Authority delegation comes days after a broad factional meeting held in Cairo that included Dahlan, the head of the Democratic Forum Nasser Al-Qudwa, leaders of Hamas, the Popular Front, Islamic Jihad, the Democratic Front, and several other factions.
Media reports indicated that Dahlan proposed to the factions the establishment of a broad national bloc to secure more than 50% of the voters' votes, which would qualify it to bring about the necessary change, a proposal supported by Hamas, while the Islamic Jihad movement confirmed its support for such a bloc through voting for it, without actual participation in it. The Popular and Democratic Fronts requested more time to study the proposal.
