يعقد نادي الوداد المغربي اجتماعاً غداً (الإثنين)، لبحث إمكانية التعاقد مع النجم الجزائري رياض محرز خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية، بحسب ما أكده مصدر مسؤول في النادي لـ«عكاظ».
وكان الأهلي قد أنهى تعاقده مع رياض محرز في يوليو الماضي، بعد ثلاثة مواسم قضاها الجناح الجزائري بقميص «الراقي»، حقق خلالها دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة مرتين، وكأس السوبر السعودي.
لا مفاوضات رسمية
وأوضح المصدر أن اسم محرز طُرح بالفعل على إدارة الوداد من قبل وكلاء، دون الدخول في أي مفاوضات رسمية حتى الآن، مؤكداً أنه لم يُتخذ قرار نهائي بشأن الصفقة.
وأشار إلى أن إتمام الصفقة يواجه صعوبات، في مقدمتها الراتب المرتفع للاعب، إلى جانب وجود حكيم زياش، الذي يلعب في المركز نفسه.
أرقام محرز مع الأهلي
وخاض محرز 122 مباراة مع الأهلي في مختلف المسابقات خلال مواسمه الثلاثة، سجل خلالها 37 هدفاً، وصنع 50 هدفاً.
The Moroccan Wydad Club will hold a meeting tomorrow (Monday) to discuss the possibility of signing Algerian star Riyad Mahrez during the current summer transfer window, according to a responsible source at the club who spoke to "Okaz".
Al-Ahli had concluded its contract with Riyad Mahrez last July, after three seasons that the Algerian winger spent wearing the "Raqi" jersey, during which he won the AFC Champions League twice and the Saudi Super Cup.
No Official Negotiations
The source clarified that Mahrez's name has indeed been brought up to the Wydad management by agents, without entering into any official negotiations so far, confirming that no final decision has been made regarding the deal.
He pointed out that completing the deal faces difficulties, primarily the player's high salary, in addition to the presence of Hakim Ziyech, who plays in the same position.
Mahrez's Numbers with Al-Ahli
Mahrez played 122 matches with Al-Ahli in various competitions during his three seasons, scoring 37 goals and providing 50 assists.
