فيما لم تؤكد حتى اللحظة حركة حماس صحة تلك المعلومات، أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي، اليوم (الأحد)، تنفيذ ضربة في منطقة المغازي وسط غزة، وقتل إسماعيل أبو فول الذي زُعم أنه قائد موقع لإنتاج الوسائل القتالية تابع للحركة.
وقالت المتحدثة باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي إيلا واوية: الجيش وجهاز الأمن العام (الشاباك) نفذا العملية، مبينة أن إسماعيل أبو فول مسؤول إنتاج العبوات الناسفة والصواريخ المضادة للدروع لصالح «حماس».
وذكرت المتحدثة أن قواتها استهدفت موقع الإنتاج في منطقة المغازي، بالقرب من نقطة لتوزيع المساعدات تابعة لمنظمة دولية، متهمة «حماس» باستخدام البنى التحتية المدنية، بما فيها مراكز توزيع المساعدات.
وتأتي الضربة الجديدة في وقت لا تزال الهدنة في غزة تواجه خروقات وتوترات ميدانية، إذ شهد القطاع خلال الأيام الأخيرة ضربات إسرائيلية أسفرت عن سقوط قتلى وجرحى مدنيين.
وأكدت مصادر طبية اليوم، مقتل فلسطينيين، بينهم طفل يبلغ 4 سنوات، وإصابة 7 آخرين، ليرتفع بذلك عدد القتلى منذ وقف إطلاق النار في أكتوبر العام الماضي إلى 1280 فلسطينياً و4 جنود إسرائيليين.
While Hamas has not yet confirmed the accuracy of this information, the Israeli army announced today (Sunday) that it carried out a strike in the al-Maghazi area in central Gaza, killing Ismail Abu Fool, who was alleged to be the commander of a site for producing weaponry for the movement.
The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Eila Wawiya, stated that the army and the General Security Service (Shabak) executed the operation, indicating that Ismail Abu Fool was responsible for the production of explosive devices and anti-tank missiles for Hamas.
The spokesperson mentioned that their forces targeted the production site in the al-Maghazi area, near a distribution point for aid belonging to an international organization, accusing Hamas of using civilian infrastructure, including aid distribution centers.
This new strike comes at a time when the ceasefire in Gaza continues to face violations and field tensions, as the sector has witnessed Israeli strikes in recent days that resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.
Medical sources confirmed today the deaths of two Palestinians, including a 4-year-old child, and the injury of 7 others, raising the death toll since the ceasefire in October of last year to 1,280 Palestinians and 4 Israeli soldiers.
