A large crowd attended the funeral of colleague Suleiman Saeed bin Makhasen this afternoon (Monday), who passed away at the age of 70, at Al-Ruwais Cemetery in Al-Jadidah 2, following the prayer held for him at Sheikh Faisal bin Mubarak Mosque.

The deceased worked as an editor in the sports section for decades, and also served as an editorial writer in arts and social matters. Throughout his media career, he was distinguished by his good character, seriousness in work, extensive relationships, and good reputation, maintaining this approach until he passed away last Friday. Several relatives and colleagues of the deceased expressed their sorrow over the departure of "bin Makhasen," praying that God grants him vast mercy and places him in His spacious gardens, and that He inspires his family with patience and solace. The deceased is the father of Omar Makhasen.

Condolences will be received tomorrow (Tuesday) at the family home located in Al-Murwah neighborhood next to Al-Basami Mosque in Jeddah.
