أحبطت هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك 5 محاولات لتهريب كمية من مادة الإمفيتامين المخدر بلغت (242,296) حبة، عُثر عليها مُخبأة في عدد من الشاحنات والمركبات القادمة إلى المملكة عبر منفذ الربع الخالي، ومنفذ الحديثة، ومنفذ الدرّة.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك حمود الحربي أنه في المحاولة الأولى تم إحباط تهريب (202,570) حبة في منفذ الربع الخالي، حيث كانت مُخبأة في أجزاء من إحدى الشاحنات القادمة إلى المملكة عبر المنفذ. وفي منفذ الحديثة، جرى إحباط 3 محاولات، الأولى عُثر فيها على (9,859) حبة مُخبأة في مخابئ أُعدت داخل الشاحنة، والثانية تم العثور فيها على (6,040) حبة، كانت مخبأة ضمن إرسالية «أسلاك كهربائية»، والثالثة تم إحباطها بعد العثور على (11,424) حبة مُخبأة داخل «عمود الدوران» لإحدى المركبات القادمة، وأضاف الحربي أن المحاولة الخامسة التي تم إحباطها كانت في منفذ الدرّة، حيث عُثر على (12,403) حبات، كانت مخبأة في «عمود الدوران» لإحدى المركبات.
وأفاد الحربي بأنه بعد إتمام عملية الضبط، جرى التنسيق مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات لضمان القبض على مستقبلي المضبوطات داخل المملكة، حيث تم القبض عليهما وهما شخصان.
وأكد الحربي أن الهيئة ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة، تحقيقاً لأمن المجتمع وحمايته من هذه الآفات، وذلك بالتعاون والتنسيق المتواصل مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات.
ودعا المتحدث باسم الهيئة الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني، من خلال التواصل معها على الرقم المخصص للبلاغات الأمنية (1910) أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني (1910@zatca.gov.sa) والرقم الدولي (009661910)، حيث تقوم الهيئة من خلال هذه القنوات باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب، ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد وذلك بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority thwarted 5 attempts to smuggle a quantity of the drug methamphetamine amounting to (242,296) pills, which were found hidden in several trucks and vehicles coming to the Kingdom through the Al-Rub' al-Khali, Al-Haditha, and Al-Durra crossings.
The spokesperson for the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, Hamoud Al-Harbi, explained that in the first attempt, (202,570) pills were seized at the Al-Rub' al-Khali crossing, where they were hidden in parts of one of the trucks coming to the Kingdom through the crossing. At the Al-Haditha crossing, 3 attempts were thwarted: in the first, (9,859) pills were found hidden in prepared compartments inside the truck; in the second, (6,040) pills were discovered hidden within a shipment of "electrical wires"; and the third was thwarted after (11,424) pills were found hidden inside the "rotating column" of one of the incoming vehicles. Al-Harbi added that the fifth attempt, which was thwarted at the Al-Durra crossing, involved (12,403) pills hidden in the "rotating column" of one of the vehicles.
Al-Harbi reported that after the seizure operation was completed, coordination was made with the General Directorate for Drug Control to ensure the arrest of those receiving the seized items inside the Kingdom, and two individuals were apprehended.
Al-Harbi confirmed that the authority is continuing to tighten customs control over the imports and exports of the Kingdom, in order to ensure community security and protect it from these scourges, in cooperation and continuous coordination with the General Directorate for Drug Control.
The spokesperson for the authority called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect the community and the national economy, by contacting them at the designated security reporting number (1910) or via email (1910@zatca.gov.sa) and the international number (009661910), where the authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the unified customs system with complete confidentiality, offering a financial reward to the informant if the information provided is accurate.
