شهدت سماء المملكة، مساء اليوم، اقتران هلال القمر المتزايد مع كوكب الزهرة في الأفق الغربي بعد غروب الشمس، في ظاهرة فلكية أمكن مشاهدتها بالعين المجردة دون الحاجة إلى أجهزة رصد.
ويظهر هذا الاقتران نتيجة الحركة الظاهرية للقمر والكواكب في مداراتها، ويُعد من الظواهر الفلكية الدورية التي تتكرر في أوقات مختلفة من العام، ويتيح للمهتمين برصد السماء متابعته وتصويره، لا سيما خلال فترة الشفق.
ويمكن توثيق الظاهرة باستخدام كاميرات الهواتف الذكية أو الكاميرات الرقمية، فيما تسهم المناظير في إظهار تفاصيل الهلال بصورة أوضح، بما في ذلك ضياء الأرض على الجزء غير المضاء من القمر.
This evening, the sky over the Kingdom witnessed the conjunction of the waxing crescent moon with the planet Venus on the western horizon after sunset, in an astronomical phenomenon that could be observed with the naked eye without the need for observation devices.
This conjunction appears as a result of the apparent motion of the moon and planets in their orbits, and it is considered one of the periodic astronomical phenomena that recur at different times of the year, allowing sky enthusiasts to follow and photograph it, especially during twilight.
The phenomenon can be documented using smartphone cameras or digital cameras, while telescopes help reveal details of the crescent more clearly, including Earthshine on the unlit part of the moon.
