I received an invitation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission to attend the National Forum for School Excellence, which was held in Riyadh last Monday. Among my most notable observations of this national forum:
⁃ The quality of organization and the grandeur of the celebration, which confirms the Commission's interest in distinguished schools and its appreciation and celebration of them in a manner befitting the significant efforts they have made.
⁃ The honoring included 760 schools for boys and girls across various stages, with an increase of 18% compared to last year. This confirms the intense competition in the educational field and the commitment to excellence and quality outcomes, which is the main goal of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission.
⁃ The significant integration between the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and the Ministry of Education, and their joint efforts in the field to improve outcomes according to high governance standards to achieve global competitiveness, all united by our country's Vision 2030.
⁃ The words of His Excellency the Minister of Education, His Excellency the Chairman of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, and his fellow speakers at the forum emphasize the continuation of giving and achieving the highest performance standards according to Vision 2030, and confirm the integration between the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and the Ministry of Education to elevate our education to a globally competitive Saudi model in line with the directives and aspirations of our wise leadership.
⁃ The invitation to school evaluation specialists to attend this significant national event is a form of gratitude and appreciation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission for their substantial role in evaluating schools. They have traversed this vast nation, from its valleys to its mountains, and the difficulty of the terrain did not weaken their resolve; rather, their determination was as strong as the mountains themselves.
I firmly believe that building the future of the nation begins in schools and classrooms, where various activities and experiences take place alongside actual simulations of living models that work with integrity and dedication, adhering to the honor of the profession, values, and principles, and recognizing their immense responsibility towards the nation, leadership, and citizens. This is what we observed in this group of distinguished school principals being honored.
⁃ The Education and Training Evaluation Commission highlighted the significant role of partnerships with schools and their impact on the quality of educational outcomes. Therefore, it is our collective responsibility as citizens and governmental and private institutions to share this great responsibility with schools, support them, and motivate them to fulfill their pioneering role in securing the future of the nation.
⁃ Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the Education and Training Evaluation Commission for organizing this impressive forum, which will have a significant impact on the hearts and memories of the distinguished school principals and all their staff, and will spread the culture of excellence and establish its sustainability.
