The Al-Ahli Club officially announced the renewal of the contract of German coach Matthias Jaissle for the first football team for two more years, with an option to extend for an additional season.

The club stated in an official announcement on its website: "The Al-Ahli Club Company officially announces the renewal of the contract of the first football team coach, German Matthias Jaissle, for two more years, with an option to extend for a third year, as part of the club's commitment to enhance its technical stability and support its ambitious sports journey."

The statement added: "The renewal decision comes as an extension of the great trust that coach Jaissle enjoys from the club's management and its fans, after he succeeded in leading the team to achieve two championships, represented in the Asian Elite Cup and the Saudi Super Cup. The company confirmed that Jaissle's continuation is a strategic step that reflects the club's vision in building a competitive team capable of fulfilling the aspirations of its fans and maintaining achievements and stability, while preparing for upcoming local, continental, and global challenges with full strength and determination."

The statement concluded: "The company reaffirms its commitment to continuously work to provide a comprehensive professional environment for the first team, ensuring the continuation of the success journey and enhancing Al-Ahli's position locally and in Asia, under the slogan 'And through time, we will move forward together.'

For his part, Jaissle expressed his happiness at extending his contract with Al-Ahli, stating to the club's website: "I am proud of this great entity, and I thank the management and fans for their trust and continuous support. What has been achieved so far is just the beginning, and we all work with one spirit to achieve more achievements and successes in the coming days."
