كشف مجلس القضاء الأعلى في العراق استرداد مبلغ 19 مليار دينار عراقي «ما يعادل 16 مليون دولار»، في إطار التحقيقات الجارية في قضية فساد مالي تتعلق بالتلاعب بكشوفات إيداع مبالغ مالية تخص الخطوط الجوية العراقية.
وتعتزم الحكومة العراقية توسيع حملتها ضد الفساد، وملاحقة المتورطين واستعادة الأموال العامة، في ملف يعود إلى الواجهة وسط تأكيدات رسمية باستمرار الإجراءات خلال المرحلة القادمة.
ولم تبدأ حملة ملاحقة الفساد في العراق مع الاعتقالات الأخيرة فقط، فبحسب تصريحات مرتبطة بالملف، بدأت إجراءات التتبع والملاحقة منذ أكتوبر الماضي بقيادة القضاء العراقي، في مسار تقول الحكومة إنه يستهدف كشف ملفات الفساد وملاحقة المتورطين واستعادة الأموال العامة ضمن الإجراءات القانونية.
وتصاعد التحرك القضائي والحكومي خلال الأيام الماضية مع إعلان رئيس الوزراء العراقي علي الزيدي أن ما جرى يُمثّل «مرحلة أولى» من حملة أوسع، مؤكداً أن الملف سيبقى أولوية.
وكان رئيس الوزراء العراقي علي الزيدي وجه وزارة المالية بإنشاء حساب خاص لإيداع الأموال التي يتم استردادها من المتورطين بقضايا الكسب غير المشروع، بهدف تنظيم إدارة هذه الأموال وضمان التعامل معها ضمن إطار مؤسسات الدولة.
وقال إن هذه الحملة ليست سوى البداية.. لم تنتهِ قضية الفساد بعد، وسنواصل مكافحتها.. يجب على كل من يملك أموالاً عامة أن يعيدها إلى أصحابها.. يجب أن تعود أموال الشعب إلى الشعب.
وأكد الزيدي أن الإجراءات الحالية ليست مرتبطة بحملة مؤقتة، مشدداً على أن التحقيقات ستتواصل مع توسع الملفات أمام الجهات المختصة.
وشددت الحكومة العراقية على أن المرحلة القادمة ستركز على استكمال الإجراءات القانونية وتعزيز الرقابة على المال العام.

The campaign against corruption in Iraq did not start only with the recent arrests; according to statements related to the file, tracking and pursuit procedures began last October under the leadership of the Iraqi judiciary, in a process that the government claims aims to uncover corruption files, pursue those involved, and recover public funds within legal frameworks.
The judicial and governmental movement has intensified in recent days with the announcement by Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi that what has occurred represents a "first phase" of a broader campaign, emphasizing that the file will remain a priority.
Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi had directed the Ministry of Finance to create a special account for depositing funds recovered from those involved in cases of illicit gains, with the aim of organizing the management of these funds and ensuring their handling within the framework of state institutions.
He stated that this campaign is just the beginning... the corruption case is not over yet, and we will continue to combat it... everyone who possesses public funds must return them to their rightful owners... the people's money must return to the people.
Al-Zaydi confirmed that the current procedures are not related to a temporary campaign, stressing that investigations will continue as files expand before the relevant authorities.
The Iraqi government emphasized that the upcoming phase will focus on completing legal procedures and enhancing oversight of public funds.
