شاركت المملكة العربية السعودية، ممثلة في الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا)، في أعمال المائدة المستديرة للخبراء حول بناء القدرات للهيئات الإشرافية على الذكاء الاصطناعي، التي عُقدت أمس في مقر منظمة اليونسكو بالعاصمة الفرنسية باريس، بحضور ممثلي الهيئات الإشرافية وخبراء الذكاء الاصطناعي من مختلف دول العالم.
واستعرضت مدير الإدارة العامة لحوكمة الذكاء الاصطناعي في «سدايا» رنيم بنت خالد القطان خلال مشاركتها ما تشهده المملكة من تطور لافت في مجالات الإشراف على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، من خلال بناء أطر تنظيمية متقدمة وتبني ممارسات رائدة في تدقيق الخوارزميات وتقييم أثر الذكاء الاصطناعي، بما يعكس التزام المملكة بالحوكمة المسؤولة لهذه التقنيات ودعم الاستخدام الآمن لها، انسجاما مع توجهاتها الوطنية الطموحة.
وناقشت المائدة المستديرة عددا من المحاور الرئيسية، شملت استعراض وجهات النظر من مختلف دول العالم حول الإشراف على الذكاء الاصطناعي، وفهم منهجيات تدقيق الخوارزميات وأدوات الهيئات الإشرافية، إلى جانب عقد ورش عمل تطبيقية لاختبار أدوات وتقنيات الإشراف، وبحث تقييمات الأثر للذكاء الاصطناعي ودورها في إدارة المخاطر وإستراتيجيات الامتثال، إضافة إلى تحديات الحوكمة في ظل توسع نماذج الذكاء الاصطناعي مفتوحة المصدر.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة امتدادا لدور المملكة الدولي في دعم الجهود العالمية لتعزيز الإشراف المسؤول على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، بما يرسخ حضورها كشريك فاعل في صياغة مستقبل هذه التقنيات، ويؤكد مساعيها في دعم أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة 2030 بالتوازي مع تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة في بناء اقتصاد معرفي مستدام.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), participated in the roundtable of experts on capacity building for regulatory bodies on artificial intelligence, which was held yesterday at the UNESCO headquarters in the French capital, Paris, with the presence of representatives from regulatory bodies and artificial intelligence experts from various countries around the world.
During her participation, the Director of the General Administration for AI Governance at SDAIA, Raneem bint Khalid Al-Qattan, showcased the remarkable developments in the Kingdom regarding the oversight of artificial intelligence technologies, through the establishment of advanced regulatory frameworks and the adoption of leading practices in algorithm auditing and assessing the impact of artificial intelligence. This reflects the Kingdom's commitment to responsible governance of these technologies and supporting their safe use, in line with its ambitious national objectives.
The roundtable discussed several key topics, including the exchange of perspectives from different countries around the oversight of artificial intelligence, understanding methodologies for algorithm auditing and tools for regulatory bodies, as well as conducting practical workshops to test oversight tools and techniques, exploring impact assessments of artificial intelligence and their role in risk management and compliance strategies, in addition to governance challenges in light of the expansion of open-source artificial intelligence models.
This participation extends the Kingdom's international role in supporting global efforts to enhance responsible oversight of artificial intelligence technologies, reinforcing its presence as an active partner in shaping the future of these technologies, and affirming its efforts to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030, alongside achieving the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision in building a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
