وكشف طبيب النادي الأهلي الدكتور أحمد جاب الله أن الأشعة التي أجريت لإمام عاشور أثبتت إصابته بكسر في عظمة الترقوة، ما يستلزم إجراء عملية جراحية عاجلة في أحد مستشفيات ميامي خلال الساعات القادمة.
وأكد جاب الله أن هذه الإصابة ستبعد عاشور عن باقي مباريات الأهلي في البطولة، في خسارة كبيرة للفريق الذي يعتمد بشكل كبير على إبداعات اللاعب وروحه القتالية.

وتعرض إمام عاشور للإصابة في الدقيقة 12 من المباراة، بعد تدخل قوي من أحد لاعبي إنتر ميامي أثناء محاولته السيطرة على الكرة.
وحاول الجهاز الطبي علاجه داخل الملعب، لكن اللاعب سقط باكياً من شدة الألم، ليتم استبداله بأحمد مصطفى (زيزو)، الذي شارك لأول مرة رسمياً مع الأهلي.
وكان عاشور قد أهدر فرصة خطيرة للتسجيل في الدقيقة 8، بعد هجمة مرتدة سريعة تصدى لها الحارس الأرجنتيني أوسكار أوستاري.
ليست هذه المرة الأولى التي يعاني فيها عاشور من إصابة في الكتف. ففي مارس 2024 تعرض لخلع بين منطقة الترقوة ولوح الكتف خلال مباراة ودية لمنتخب مصر أمام نيوزيلندا في كأس عاصمة مصر، ما أبعده عن الملاعب لمدة شهرين بعد خضوعه لعملية جراحية.
هذه الإصابة الجديدة تثير قلق جماهير الأهلي بشأن مستقبل اللاعب، خصوصا مع أهمية المرحلة القادمة في البطولة.

Al Ahly's doctor, Ahmed Gaballah, revealed that the scans conducted on Imam Ashour confirmed he has a fracture in his collarbone, necessitating urgent surgery at a hospital in Miami within the coming hours.
Gaballah confirmed that this injury will keep Ashour out of the remaining matches for Al Ahly in the tournament, marking a significant loss for the team that heavily relies on the player's creativity and fighting spirit.

Imam Ashour was injured in the 12th minute of the match after a strong challenge from one of the Inter Miami players while he was trying to control the ball.
The medical staff attempted to treat him on the field, but the player fell to the ground in tears from the pain, leading to his substitution with Ahmed Mostafa (Zizo), who made his official debut with Al Ahly.
Ashour had missed a dangerous scoring opportunity in the 8th minute after a quick counterattack that was thwarted by Argentine goalkeeper Oscar Ustari.
This is not the first time Ashour has suffered a shoulder injury. In March 2024, he dislocated his shoulder between the collarbone and the shoulder blade during a friendly match for the Egyptian national team against New Zealand in the Capital of Egypt Cup, which kept him off the field for two months after undergoing surgery.
This new injury raises concerns among Al Ahly fans regarding the player's future, especially with the importance of the upcoming stage in the tournament.
