لفت خطّاطون سعوديون أنظار زوّار معرض جدة للكتاب 2025 بحضورهم اليومي وتفاعلهم المباشر مع الجمهور، عبر ورش حيّة قدّموا فيها جماليات الخط العربي، خصوصاً السعودي، ضمن البرنامج الثقافي الذي تنظمه هيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة.
وأسهم الخطّاط عبدالرحمن بن قاسم في هذه التجربة التفاعلية من خلال كتابة أسماء الزوّار وعباراتهم بالخط العربي، مؤكداً أن المشاركة في المعرض شكّلت مساحة مفتوحة للحوار مع الجمهور، وتعريفه بتاريخ الخط وأنواعه، إضافة إلى تقديم أعمال فنية بسيطة، ترافق القارئ داخل كتبه أو تزيّن فضاءه الشخصي.
وأشار قاسم إلى أن الخط السعودي، الذي أطلقته وزارة الثقافة في أبريل 2025، يمثّل امتداداً معاصراً للخط العربي المستلهم من النقوش والمصاحف القديمة، ويواكب في الوقت ذاته التحولات الرقمية، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 في دعم اللغة العربية والفنون.
وعبّر الخطّاط موسى علي الشرماني عن اعتزازه بالمشاركة في المعرض، معتبراً التجربة فرصة لتعزيز حضور الخط العربي بوصفه عنصراً من عناصر الهوية الثقافية، لا سيما الخط السعودي.
وبيّن أن التفاعل المباشر مع الزوّار، وكتابة أسمائهم وفق اختياراتهم من الخطوط، أسهما في تعريف الجمهور بتنوّع الخط العربي وجمالياته، وإيجاد حالة تواصل إنساني وفني يراها من التجارب المؤثرة في مسيرته.
وثمّن الخطّاط مازن باصقر الدور التنظيمي لهيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة، موضحاً أن البرنامج الثقافي المصاحب لمعرض جدة للكتاب، بما يضمه من ورش فنية، أتاح مساحة حقيقية لنشر ثقافة الخط العربي.
ولفت إلى أن مشاركته ركّزت على إبراز الخط السعودي بوصفه خطاً معاصراً يحمل اسم المملكة، ويتميّز بمرونته وقدرته على مواكبة المتطلبات الوطنية والتطبيقات الحديثة.
وينم الحضور الفني للخطّاطين السعوديين في معرض جدة للكتاب 2025 عن توجّه المعرض إلى تحويل الثقافة من عرضٍ بصري إلى تجربة حيّة، تدمج بين التراث والابتكار، وتقرّب الفنون الأصيلة من الجمهور بمختلف فئاته.
Saudi calligraphers attracted the attention of visitors at the Jeddah Book Fair 2025 with their daily presence and direct interaction with the audience, through live workshops where they showcased the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy, especially the Saudi style, as part of the cultural program organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission.
Calligrapher Abdulrahman bin Qasim contributed to this interactive experience by writing the names and phrases of visitors in Arabic calligraphy, emphasizing that participation in the fair created an open space for dialogue with the audience, introducing them to the history of calligraphy and its types, in addition to presenting simple artistic works that accompany readers within their books or adorn their personal spaces.
Qasim pointed out that the Saudi calligraphy, launched by the Ministry of Culture in April 2025, represents a contemporary extension of Arabic calligraphy inspired by ancient inscriptions and manuscripts, while also keeping pace with digital transformations, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting the Arabic language and the arts.
Calligrapher Mousa Ali Al-Shurmany expressed his pride in participating in the fair, considering the experience an opportunity to enhance the presence of Arabic calligraphy as an element of cultural identity, especially Saudi calligraphy.
He indicated that the direct interaction with visitors and writing their names according to their choices of scripts contributed to introducing the audience to the diversity and aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy, creating a human and artistic communication that he views as one of the impactful experiences in his journey.
Calligrapher Mazen Basqer appreciated the organizational role of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, explaining that the cultural program accompanying the Jeddah Book Fair, which includes artistic workshops, provided a real space for promoting the culture of Arabic calligraphy.
He noted that his participation focused on highlighting Saudi calligraphy as a contemporary script that carries the name of the Kingdom, characterized by its flexibility and ability to meet national requirements and modern applications.
The artistic presence of Saudi calligraphers at the Jeddah Book Fair 2025 reflects the fair's direction towards transforming culture from a visual display into a live experience that blends heritage and innovation, bringing authentic arts closer to the audience from various segments.
