وزير الثقافة الأوزبكي يزور معرض الرياض الدولي للكتاب

The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nizorbekov Ozodbek, and his accompanying delegation toured the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority under the slogan "Riyadh Reads" at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.

The minister, Ozodbek, was briefed on the most prominent participating pavilions, including the Uzbekistan pavilion, which is the guest of honor at this year's fair. During the tour, he learned about the cultural, literary, and artistic presentations offered by the Uzbek pavilion, reflecting the depth of his country's civilizational heritage. He also explored the participating Saudi pavilions, which showcase the Kingdom's efforts in the fields of publishing, translation, and book production.

The minister praised the distinguished organization and diversity of cultural content, affirming that Uzbekistan's selection as the guest of honor for the fair reflects the depth of cultural relations between the two countries.

He stated, "The Riyadh International Book Fair embodies the spirit of openness and communication between cultures, and confirms the position that the Kingdom has attained in supporting the literary and intellectual movement at the regional and global levels."

He concluded his visit by expressing his gratitude to the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority for providing platforms that enhance cultural exchange, emphasizing his country's aspiration for more joint initiatives that bring together creators from both sides.
