أعلن المجلس الوطني للتخطيط أن الاقتصاد القطري واصل نموه في الربع الثاني من عام 2025 بالرغم من التحديات التي يشهدها السياق العالمي، إذ سجل الناتج المحلي الإجمالي الحقيقي ارتفاعا بنسبة 1.9% مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من عام 2024، فيما كان هذا النمو مدفوعا بشكل رئيسي بأنشطة القطاع غير الهيدروكربوني،الاقتصاد التي شهدت توسعا بنسبة 3.4%.
وذكر المجلس الوطني للتخطيط، في بيان له، أن الاقتصاد القطري سجل نموا في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي الحقيقي بنسبة 1.9% على أساس سنوي، ليصل إلى 181.8 مليار ريال بالأسعار الثابتة، مقارنة بـ178.5 مليار ريال في الربع الثاني من عام 2024.
وأوضح أن الأنشطة غير الهيدروكربونية مثلت 65.6% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي الحقيقي، إذ بلغت القيمة المضافة لها 119.3 مليار ريال في الربع الثاني من عام 2025، مقارنة بـ115.4 مليار ريال في نفس الفترة من عام 2024، وهو ما يمثل زيادة سنوية قدرها 3.4%؛ مما يؤكد فاعلية سياسات التنويع الاقتصادي التي تنتهجها الدولة في إطار إستراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثالثة (NDS3) ورؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.
أسرع الأنشطة
وأشار إلى أن أسرع الأنشطة نموا ضمن الاقتصاد غير الهيدروكربوني، على أساس سنوي، كانت الزراعة، والحراجة، وصيد الأسماك +15.8%، والإقامة وخدمات الطعام +13.4% والفنون، والترفيه، والتسلية +8.9% وتجارة الجملة والتجزئة +8.8%، والبناء والتشييد +8.7%.
وأكد المجلس الوطني للتخطيط في البيان أن هذه النتائج المتنوعة تجسد الاستثمارات المستمرة في قطاعات السياحة والخدمات والبنية التحتية التخصصية، إلى جانب تعزيز دور القطاع الخاص في الاقتصاد القطري.
وأضاف أن 11 من أصل 17 نشاطا اقتصاديا سجلت نموا حقيقيا إيجابيا خلال الربع الثاني من عام 2025، مما يدل على متانة القاعدة الاقتصادية لدولة قطر. وقد واصلت الأنشطة الخدمية مثل الإقامة وخدمات الطعام والترفيه توسعها القوي، مدفوعة بزخم مستمر في قطاع السياحة والطلب المحلي.
The National Planning Council announced that the Qatari economy continued to grow in the second quarter of 2025 despite the challenges faced in the global context, as the real GDP recorded an increase of 1.9% compared to the same period in 2024. This growth was primarily driven by activities in the non-hydrocarbon sector, which experienced an expansion of 3.4%.
The National Planning Council stated in a statement that the Qatari economy recorded a year-on-year growth in real GDP of 1.9%, reaching 181.8 billion Qatari riyals at constant prices, compared to 178.5 billion Qatari riyals in the second quarter of 2024.
It clarified that non-hydrocarbon activities accounted for 65.6% of the real GDP, with their value added reaching 119.3 billion Qatari riyals in the second quarter of 2025, compared to 115.4 billion Qatari riyals in the same period of 2024, representing an annual increase of 3.4%; confirming the effectiveness of the economic diversification policies pursued by the state within the framework of the Third National Development Strategy (NDS3) and Qatar National Vision 2030.
Fastest Growing Activities
It pointed out that the fastest-growing activities within the non-hydrocarbon economy, on a year-on-year basis, were agriculture, forestry, and fishing +15.8%, accommodation and food services +13.4%, arts, entertainment, and recreation +8.9%, wholesale and retail trade +8.8%, and construction +8.7%.
The National Planning Council emphasized in the statement that these diverse results reflect the ongoing investments in tourism, services, and specialized infrastructure sectors, alongside enhancing the role of the private sector in the Qatari economy.
It added that 11 out of 17 economic activities recorded positive real growth during the second quarter of 2025, indicating the robustness of Qatar's economic base. Service activities such as accommodation, food services, and entertainment continued their strong expansion, driven by sustained momentum in the tourism sector and domestic demand.
