أعلن رئيس هيئة قناة السويس الفريق أسامة ربيع، اليوم الأربعاء، انتظام حركة الملاحة بالقناة من الاتجاهين وعدم تأثرها بحادثة غرق الحفار ADMARINE12 بمنطقة جبل الزيت بمدخل خليج السويس، الذي يبعد 130 ميلاً بحريّاً عن المدخل الجنوبي لقناة السويس بالبحر الأحمر.
ووجه الفريق أسامة ربيع، حسب بيان رسمي صادر عن هيئة قناة السويس، رسالة طمأنة بشأن انتظام الملاحة بالقناة بمعدلاتها الطبيعية، وعدم تأثرها بالحادثة التي وقعت خارج نطاق المجرى الملاحي لقناة السويس.
وأوضح أن مركز إدارة الأزمات والكوارث التابع للهيئة يتابع عن كثب تطورات الحادثة ضمن مهماته في التنسيق مع الجهات الخارجية في إدارة الأزمات التي تقع خارج نطاق المجرى الملاحي للقناة.
وأكد الفريق ربيع جاهزية الهيئة للتعاون مع الجهات المعنية لتقديم المساعدات اللازمة في حال تطلب الأمر ذلك؛ تفعيلا للجهود المبذولة من قبل الدولة لتحقيق الإدارة المركزية المتكاملة للأزمات.
وأشار إلى ما تمتلكه هيئة قناة السويس من منظومة متكاملة تزخر بكفاءات ملاحية وخبرات متراكمة في أعمال الإنقاذ البحري ووحدات بحرية متخصصة في أعمال الإنقاذ البحري والتأمين الملاحي ومكافحة التلوث.
وشهدت حركة الملاحة بالقناة اليوم، عبور 33 سفينة من الاتجاهين بإجمالي حمولات صافية قدرها 1.4مليون طن.
The Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, announced today, Wednesday, that navigation in the canal is proceeding normally from both directions and is not affected by the sinking of the drilling rig ADMARINE12 in the area of Jabal Al-Zeit at the entrance of the Gulf of Suez, which is 130 nautical miles from the southern entrance of the Suez Canal in the Red Sea.
Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, according to an official statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority, sent a reassuring message regarding the regularity of navigation in the canal at its normal rates, and that it is not affected by the incident that occurred outside the navigational channel of the Suez Canal.
He explained that the Crisis and Disaster Management Center of the authority is closely monitoring the developments of the incident as part of its mission to coordinate with external parties in managing crises that occur outside the navigational channel of the canal.
Lieutenant General Rabie confirmed the authority's readiness to cooperate with the relevant parties to provide the necessary assistance if required; activating the efforts made by the state to achieve integrated central management of crises.
He pointed out that the Suez Canal Authority possesses a comprehensive system rich in navigational competencies and accumulated expertise in marine rescue operations, as well as specialized marine units for marine rescue, maritime insurance, and pollution control.
Today, the navigation in the canal witnessed the passage of 33 ships from both directions with a total net tonnage of 1.4 million tons.
