أثار اختفاء لوحة فنية نادرة للرسام العالمي بابلو بيكاسو بعنوان «الطبيعة الصامتة مع الغيتار» جدلاً واسعاً في الأوساط الفنية.
اللوحة، وهي عمل صغير بتقنية الغواش، فُقدت أخيراً، مما دفع مؤسسة فنية إلى إبلاغ الشرطة الوطنية الإسبانية «Policía Nacional» التي باشرت التحقيق على الفور، وبعد أسبوع من التكهنات حول مصير اللوحة، أعلنت الشرطة، اليوم (الجمعة) استعادتها.
وأوضحت الشرطة في بيان مقتضب أن اللوحة «ربما لم تُنقل أصلاً على متن الشاحنة»، مشيرة إلى أن وحدة التراث التاريخي تواصل التحقيق، بينما يقوم خبراء الشرطة العلمية بفحص العبوة التي تحتوي على اللوحة للتأكد من سلامتها.
أعمال بيكاسو هدفاً للسرقات
وتُعد أعمال بيكاسو هدفاً متكرراً للسرقات بسبب شهرته العالمية وقيمة لوحاته الباهظة، ففي فبراير 2007، سُرقت لوحتان لبيكاسو بقيمة 50 مليون يورو من منزل حفيدته في باريس، وبعد عامين، اختف دفتر رسومات للفنان بقيمة تزيد عن 8 ملايين يورو من متحف مخصص له في العاصمة الفرنسية، كما تعرضت فيلا حفيدته الأخرى، مارينا بيكاسو، في الريفييرا الفرنسية لسرقة 12 لوحة بقيمة حوالى 9 ملايين جنيه إسترليني في عام 1989.
أما في عام 1976، شهدت مدينة أفينيون الفرنسية واحدة من أكبر عمليات السرقة الفنية في البلاد، حيث سُرق أكثر من 110 أعمال فنية لبيكاسو من أحد المتاحف.
The disappearance of a rare painting by the world-renowned artist Pablo Picasso titled "Still Life with Guitar" has sparked widespread controversy in artistic circles.
The painting, a small work in gouache technique, was recently lost, prompting an art institution to notify the Spanish National Police "Policía Nacional," which immediately launched an investigation. After a week of speculation about the painting's fate, the police announced today (Friday) that it has been recovered.
The police clarified in a brief statement that the painting "may not have been transported at all on the truck," noting that the historical heritage unit continues the investigation, while forensic experts are examining the package containing the painting to ensure its safety.
Picasso's Works Targeted by Thieves
Picasso's works are a recurring target for theft due to his global fame and the high value of his paintings. In February 2007, two Picasso paintings worth 50 million euros were stolen from his granddaughter's home in Paris. Two years later, a sketchbook by the artist worth over 8 million euros disappeared from a museum dedicated to him in the French capital. Additionally, the villa of his other granddaughter, Marina Picasso, in the French Riviera was robbed of 12 paintings valued at around 9 million pounds in 1989.
In 1976, the French city of Avignon witnessed one of the largest art thefts in the country, where more than 110 works of art by Picasso were stolen from a museum.
