The Minister of Education, Yusuf Al-Bunyan, has directed the prompt disbursement of salary differences resulting from the transition from the Hijri calendar to the Gregorian calendar for some ministry employees whose entitlements were affected by the change. According to "Okaz," the Human Resources Agency in Education has communicated with educational administrations in various regions and governorates of the Kingdom, emphasizing the need to complete all requirements urgently, with the aim of finishing the data review and disbursing the differences within 30 working days, and to report the results of the implementation immediately upon completion. According to the information, it is estimated that the salary differences exceed more than a month's salary, and the disbursement procedures will take place before the end of July 2025, after completing the inventory and matching. It is noted that the transition to salary disbursement according to the Gregorian calendar began on the 19th of Rabee' Al-Thani, 1439 AH, based on the royal directive to unify the salary disbursement dates for state employees on the 27th of each Gregorian month, in addition to unifying the service bill dates during the week following the disbursement.
