أعلن الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم، اليوم (الجمعة)، رحيل مديره الفني علاء نبيل، عقب نهاية عقده الشهر الجاري.
اتفاق ودي بعد تجديد العقد
وأوضح الاتحاد، في بيان رسمي، أنه «في إطار من التفاهم والاحترام المتبادل، تم الاتفاق المشترك مع الكابتن علاء نبيل، المدير الفني للاتحاد، على عدم تجديد التعاقد المبرم بين الطرفين، الذي استمر لمدة عامين وينتهي بنهاية شهر ديسمبر 2025».
وأكد البيان تقدير الاتحاد للجهود التي بذلها علاء نبيل خلال فترة عمله، مثمناً ما قدمه من إخلاص وعطاء، باعتباره أحد أبناء الاتحاد المخلصين، ومن أصحاب الكفاءات الفنية المشهود لها.
البديل الأقرب أجنبي
وبحسب تقارير صحفية، يتجه الاتحاد المصري إلى التعاقد مع مدير فني أجنبي لخلافة علاء نبيل، مع تداول اسم مدرب منتخب مصر السابق، البرتغالي كارلوس كيروش، ضمن أبرز المرشحين لتولي المهمة.
حلم الثامنة
ويستعد منتخب مصر الأول لكرة القدم لخوض منافسات كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2025، المقررة إقامتها في المغرب خلال الفترة من 21 ديسمبر الجاري حتى 18 يناير القادم.
ويُعد المنتخب المصري الأكثر تتويجاً بالبطولة القارية برصيد 7 ألقاب، كان آخرها عام 2010 تحت قيادة المدرب الأسطوري حسن شحاتة.
The Egyptian Football Association announced today (Friday) the departure of its head coach, Alaa Nabil, following the end of his contract this month.
Mutual Agreement After Contract Renewal
The association clarified in an official statement that "in an atmosphere of understanding and mutual respect, a joint agreement was reached with Captain Alaa Nabil, the head coach of the association, not to renew the contract between the two parties, which lasted for two years and ends at the end of December 2025."
The statement emphasized the association's appreciation for the efforts made by Alaa Nabil during his tenure, valuing his dedication and contributions, considering him one of the loyal sons of the association and a recognized figure of technical competence.
The Closest Replacement is Foreign
According to media reports, the Egyptian Football Association is moving towards hiring a foreign head coach to succeed Alaa Nabil, with the name of former Egypt national team coach, Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, being circulated among the top candidates for the position.
The Dream of the Eighth
The Egyptian national football team is preparing to compete in the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, scheduled to take place in Morocco from December 21 of this year to January 18 of the coming year.
The Egyptian team is the most decorated in the continental championship with a total of 7 titles, the last of which was in 2010 under the legendary coach Hassan Shehata.
