لقي شخص مصرعه إثر اصطدام طائرة صغيرة بسيارتين أثناء هبوطها اضطرارياً على طريق سريع في غرب كندا.
وأفادت الشرطة الكندية، في بيان، بأن الحادث وقع عندما هبطت طائرة صغيرة من طراز «بيتشكرافت» اضطرارياً على طريق رئيسي في مدينة برينس جورج، الواقعة على بعد نحو 700 كيلومتر شمال مدينة فانكوفر.
وذكرت الشرطة أن الطائرة اصطدمت بسيارتين، ما أسفر عن مقتل راكب في إحداهما، مشيرة إلى أنها باشرت مزيداً من التحقيقات للوقوف على ملابسات الحادث.
وأظهرت صور من موقع الحادث الطائرة الصغيرة مستقرة على العشب بجانب الطريق، فيما لم يُكشف عن الحالة الصحية لركابها.
