ضرب زلزال بقوة 4.7 درجة على مقياس رختر اليوم (الأحد)، محافظة البصرة شمال شرقي العراق.
وأفادت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية والرصد الزلزالي بالعراق في بيان، أن مركز الزلزال وقع في المنطقة الحدودية العراقية - الإيرانية على بُعد (60) كم شمال شرقي محافظة البصرة.
وأوضح البيان أنه تم الشعور بالهزة في محافظة البصرة والمناطق المحيطة بها دون تسجيل إصابات.
A 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck today (Sunday) in Basra province, northeastern Iraq.
The Iraqi Meteorological and Seismological Organization reported in a statement that the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Iraqi-Iranian border area, about 60 km northeast of Basra province.
The statement clarified that the tremor was felt in Basra province and the surrounding areas without any recorded injuries.
