لقي 20 شخصاً على الأقل مصرعهم وأصيب أكثر من 320 آخرين بعد أن ضرب زلزال بقوة 6.3 درجة مدينة مزار الشريف، إحدى أكبر مدن أفغانستان، في ساعة مبكرة من صباح اليوم (الإثنين)، وفقًا لما أعلنه المتحدث باسم وزارة الصحة العامة الأفغانية، شرفات زمان أمريخيل.
ووقع الزلزال الذي بلغ عمقه 10 كيلومترات في خُلم القريبة من مدينة مزار شريف في ولاية بلخ، وشعر سكان المناطق البعيدة منها العاصمة كابول بالهزات.
At least 20 people have died and more than 320 others have been injured after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, one of Afghanistan's largest cities, in the early hours of this morning (Monday), according to a statement from the spokesperson for the Afghan Ministry of Public Health, Sharafat Zaman Amarkhel.
The earthquake, which had a depth of 10 kilometers, occurred in Khulm near the city of Mazar-i-Sharif in Balkh province, and residents in areas as far away as the capital Kabul felt the tremors.
