نُقل ركاب رحلة تابعة لشركة «جيت بلو» إلى المستشفى إثر هبوط اضطراري في فلوريدا، (الخميس)، بعد انخفاض مفاجئ في ارتفاع الطائرة القادمة من المكسيك.
كانت الرحلة متجهة من كانكون إلى نيوآرك، بنيوجيرسي، عندما حدث الانخفاض المفاجئ في الارتفاع.
وتحقق إدارة الطيران المدني الاتحادية في الحادثة، وفقًا لبيان صادر عنها.
وتقرر تحويل الطائرة، وهي من طراز إيرباص إيه 320، إلى مطار تامبا الدولي الساعة الثانية بعد الظهر. ولم يُحدد بعد عدد المصابين أو خطورة إصاباتهم.
Passengers on a JetBlue flight were taken to the hospital following an emergency landing in Florida on Thursday, after a sudden drop in altitude of the plane coming from Mexico.
The flight was en route from Cancun to Newark, New Jersey, when the sudden drop in altitude occurred.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident, according to a statement released.
The aircraft, an Airbus A320, was diverted to Tampa International Airport at 2 PM. The number of injured and the severity of their injuries have not yet been determined.
