أحد المسافرين قال لصحيفة ذا ميرور إنه عاش «أكثر 15 دقيقة رعباً في حياته». وأشار إلى أن الأجواء في الطائرة تغيّرت فجأة عقب إطفاء إشارة ربط الأحزمة. وأوضح أن أحد الرجلين بدأ يمزق صفحات جوازه ويمضغها أمام الجميع، بينما توجه الآخر إلى مؤخرة الطائرة محاولاً التخلص من جواز سفره في المرحاض.
توتر داخل الطائرة
حاول طاقم الطائرة التدخل سريعاً، حيث طرقت مضيفة باب المرحاض مطالبة الرجل بالخروج، لكنه رفض الاستجابة، ما زاد من قلق الركاب. وبحسب الشاهد، فإن إعلاناً قصيراً عبر مكبر الصوت زاد من حدة التوتر، إذ لم يفهم الركاب حقيقة ما يجري.
هبوط اضطراري في باريس
مع تصاعد الفوضى، قرر قائد الطائرة تحويل مسارها والهبوط اضطرارياً في باريس. وفور وصولها، صعدت السلطات الفرنسية إلى الطائرة وقامت باعتقال الراكبين، قبل أن تستأنف الرحلة مسارها نحو لندن.

One traveler told The Mirror that he experienced "the most terrifying 15 minutes of his life." He noted that the atmosphere on the plane suddenly changed after the seatbelt sign was turned off. He explained that one of the men began tearing pages from his passport and chewing them in front of everyone, while the other headed to the back of the plane, trying to dispose of his passport in the restroom.
Tension Inside the Plane
The flight crew attempted to intervene quickly, as a flight attendant knocked on the restroom door, asking the man to come out, but he refused to respond, increasing the passengers' anxiety. According to the witness, a brief announcement over the loudspeaker heightened the tension, as the passengers did not understand what was happening.
Emergency Landing in Paris
As the chaos escalated, the captain decided to divert the flight and make an emergency landing in Paris. Upon arrival, French authorities boarded the plane and arrested the two passengers before the flight resumed its course to London.
