أعلنت منظمة الصحة العالمية، أنه تم تأكيد 48 حالة إصابة بفايروس إيبولا في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية و31 حالة وفاة.
وقال المدير العام للمنظمة تيدروس أدهانوم جيبريسوس، في تصريحات صحفية عبر رابط فيديو من مقر المنظمة في جنيف: «مر أسبوعان منذ أن أعلنت حكومة جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية عن تفشي الإيبولا.. وحتى الآن، تم الإبلاغ عن 48 حالة إصابة ما بين مؤكدة ومحتملة، فضلا عن 31 حالة وفاة».
The World Health Organization announced that 48 cases of Ebola virus have been confirmed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, along with 31 deaths.
The Director-General of the organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated in press remarks via a video link from the organization's headquarters in Geneva: "Two weeks have passed since the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo declared an Ebola outbreak... So far, 48 cases have been reported, both confirmed and probable, in addition to 31 deaths."
