On Inisheer Island, Chris Harley and Matthew Laming found a wax-sealed bottle while strolling. As soon as they opened the bottle, they found a handwritten note containing English words: "Help," "Hello," and "SOS." However, the rest was written in a language unknown to them. After translating the message using a software program, they discovered it was a plea for help from three people who had been stranded on an unknown island for four years and were injured.

Upon further investigation, it became apparent that the message might be linked to a strange incident involving the ship "Young Yu Shing No. 18," which lost its crew in January 2021. The ship was found adrift at sea with no one on board.

As questions about crime and threats increased, the friends were advised to hand the message over to the authorities. Chris and Matthew did so, which made headlines in Taiwan and attracted the attention of local police.
