لقي 4 أشخاص مصرعهم، وفقد 8 آخرون، جراء انهيار أرضي نتيجة الأمطار الغزيرة في مقاطعة «خبي» شمالي الصين.
وبينت السلطات المحلية في المنطقة أن 4 أشخاص لقوا مصرعهم وما زال 8 آخرون في عداد المفقودين، جراء الانهيار الذي ضرب قرية في محافظة «لوانبينغ» بمدينة تشنغده.
وكانت السلطات الصينية قد أعلنت أنها أجلت أكثر من 4400 شخص بعد اشتداد الأمطار الغزيرة حول العاصمة بكين والمقاطعات المجاورة لها في شمال البلاد أمس، ما زاد أخطار الكوارث التي تشمل الانهيارات الأرضية والفيضانات.
وقد استمر هطول الأمطار الغزيرة على منطقة ميون في ضاحية بكين، ما تسبب في حدوث سيول وانهيارات أرضية، إضافة إلى تضرر العديد من القرى.
كما شهد شمال الصين هطول أمطار قياسية في السنوات القليلة الماضية، ما عرّض المدن المكتظة بالسكان ومنها بكين لمخاطر الفيضانات. ويربط بعض العلماء زيادة هطول الأمطار في شمال الصين، الذي عادة ما يكون جافاً، بظاهرة الاحتباس الحراري.
يذكر أنه في يونيو الماضي، لقي ثلاثة أشخاص مصرعهم وأصيب اثنان آخران، جراء انهيار أرضي وقع في منطقة شيتسانغ ذاتية الحكم جنوب غربي الصين.

Heavy rains continued to fall on the Miyun area in the Beijing suburbs, causing flash floods and landslides, in addition to damaging many villages.
Northern China has also experienced record rainfall in recent years, exposing densely populated cities, including Beijing, to flood risks. Some scientists link the increased rainfall in northern China, which is usually dry, to the phenomenon of global warming.
It is worth noting that in June, three people died and two others were injured due to a landslide that occurred in the autonomous region of Qizhong in southwestern China.
