أحالت النيابة العامة المصرية، 16 فتاة إلى المحاكمة الجنائية العاجلة بتهمة تشكيل عصابة نسائية متخصصة في استدراج الشباب عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، وتصويرهم في أوضاع مخلة لابتزازهم ماديا مقابل عدم نشر المواد المصورة.
القضية كشفت عن شبكة إجرامية محترفة تضم فتيات يحملن مؤهلات جامعية من كليات الآداب والخدمة الاجتماعية، إلى جانب أخريات من جنسيات أجنبية، في واحدة من أكبر قضايا الابتزاز الإلكتروني في مصر خلال الفترة الأخيرة.
وفقا لتحقيقات النيابة، استخدمت المتهمات حسابات وهمية على تطبيقات مثل «فيسبوك» و«واتساب» و«تليغرام» لاستهداف الشباب، حيث كن يبدأن محادثات ذات طابع شخصي أو جنسي، ثم يقمن بتصوير الضحايا عبر مكالمات فيديو أو تسجيل الشاشة.
وبعد جمع المواد المصورة، كانت المتهمات يهددن الضحايا بنشر هذه المحتويات ما لم يتم دفع مبالغ مالية، مستغلات بذلك خصوصية الضحايا ومعلوماتهم الشخصية.
وأظهرت التحقيقات أن الشبكة كانت تعمل بتخطيط محكم، حيث قامت المتهمات بإدارة حسابات إلكترونية مخصصة لتسهيل عمليات الابتزاز، مع استخدام تقنيات متقدمة لإخفاء هوياتهن.
كما تبين أن بعض الضحايا تعرضوا لمضايقات متكررة، بما في ذلك التهديد بإرسال المواد المصورة إلى أسرهم أو أصدقائهم، ما تسبب في أضرار نفسية واجتماعية كبيرة.
ويتضمن أمر الإحالة اتهامات خطيرة، تشمل: التهديد كتابيا بنشر محتوى خادش للشرف، الابتزاز المالي تحت التهديد، إنشاء وإدارة حسابات إلكترونية لتسهيل الجرائم، انتهاك خصوصية الضحايا، واستخدام بياناتهم الشخصية في سياقات مسيئة.
ومن المتوقع أن تبدأ محكمة الجنايات المختصة النظر في القضية خلال الأيام القادمة، وسط دعوات بتشديد العقوبات للحد من انتشار ظاهرة الابتزاز الإلكتروني التي شهدت تصاعدا ملحوظا في مصر.
وكشفت التحقيقات أن الشبكة استهدفت أكثر من 50 ضحية في محافظات مختلفة، معظمهم من الشباب في الفئة العمرية بين 18 و30 عاما.
كما أشارت التحقيقات إلى أن المتهمات استخدمن برامج تشفير لحماية بياناتهن، ما جعل القبض عليهن تحديا كبيرا للجهات الأمنية.
وأوضحت مصادر أمنية أن هذه القضية تعد جزءا من سلسلة عمليات لمكافحة الجرائم الإلكترونية التي تستهدف الشباب، حيث تعمل وزارة الداخلية على تطوير وحدات متخصصة في مكافحة هذا النوع من الجرائم.
The Egyptian Public Prosecution has referred 16 girls to urgent criminal trial on charges of forming a female gang specialized in luring young men through social media platforms and filming them in compromising situations to extort money from them in exchange for not publishing the recorded materials.
The case revealed a professional criminal network comprising girls with university degrees from faculties of arts and social work, alongside others of foreign nationalities, in one of the largest cases of cyber extortion in Egypt in recent times.
According to the prosecution's investigations, the accused used fake accounts on applications like "Facebook," "WhatsApp," and "Telegram" to target young men, where they would initiate conversations of a personal or sexual nature, then film the victims through video calls or screen recordings.
After collecting the recorded materials, the accused would threaten the victims with publishing this content unless they paid monetary amounts, exploiting the victims' privacy and personal information.
The investigations showed that the network operated with meticulous planning, as the accused managed electronic accounts dedicated to facilitating extortion operations, using advanced techniques to conceal their identities.
It was also revealed that some victims faced repeated harassment, including threats to send the recorded materials to their families or friends, causing significant psychological and social harm.
The referral order includes serious charges, including: written threats to publish content that is offensive to honor, financial extortion under threat, creating and managing electronic accounts to facilitate crimes, violating the victims' privacy, and using their personal data in abusive contexts.
The competent criminal court is expected to begin hearing the case in the coming days, amid calls for stricter penalties to curb the spread of the phenomenon of cyber extortion, which has seen a noticeable increase in Egypt.
Investigations revealed that the network targeted more than 50 victims in various governorates, most of whom were young people aged between 18 and 30 years.
The investigations also indicated that the accused used encryption programs to protect their data, making their arrest a significant challenge for security authorities.
Security sources clarified that this case is part of a series of operations to combat cyber crimes targeting young people, as the Ministry of Interior is working on developing specialized units to tackle this type of crime.
