بعد أن قضت امرأة تركية فترة طويلة من التعب والشعور بالإرهاق، توجهت إلى مشفى خاص لإجراء الفحوصات اللازمة، حيث خضعت لمجموعة من الصور والتحاليل.
وتبعاً لوكالة «إخلاص»، فإن الفريق الطبي لاحظ احمراراً وتورماً في بطن ووجه المريضة، فأحالها إلى قسم الأمراض الجلدية. وفي فحص مفصّل أجراه طبيب الأمراض الجلدية تم اكتشاف قراد متصل بمحيط سرة المرأة.
وبعد أن قام الطبيب بإزالة القراد بنجاح، وُضعت المريضة تحت المراقبة، ولحسن الحظ تبين أن القراد لم ينقل أي عدوى خطيرة للمريضة التي كان من الممكن أن تفقد حياتها فيما لو أصيبت بالحمى.

According to the "Ikhlas" agency, the medical team noticed redness and swelling in the patient's abdomen and face, so they referred her to the dermatology department. In a detailed examination conducted by the dermatologist, a tick was discovered attached to the area around the woman's navel.
After the doctor successfully removed the tick, the patient was placed under observation, and fortunately, it turned out that the tick had not transmitted any serious infections to the patient, who could have lost her life had she contracted a fever.
