في محاولة لتوفير ثمن تذكرة طيران قرر رجل صيني خوض مغامرة جنونية، إذ قطع مئات الكيلومترات على مدار أيام، عبر سرقة 8 سيارات واحدة تلو الأخرى.
وفي تفاصيل القصة التي روتها صحيفة «ساوث تشاينا» ألغى تشن الذي كان في زيارة إلى مدينة تشانغشا تذكرة طيران عودته إلى مسقط رأسه بقيمة 200 دولار، واستغل ضعف تأمين بعض معارض السيارات ومراكز الصيانة، فاقتحمها ليلاً واستولى على المفاتيح من الأدراج وقاد كل سيارة حتى نفاد الوقود متنقلاً بين المدن بسيارات مسروقة.
قطع تشن مئات الكيلومترات بهذه الطريقة حتى تم تعقبه عبر كاميرات المراقبة وسجلات السيارات المسروقة، وأُلقي القبض عليه في مقاطعة قريبة من وجهته.
السلطات وجهت إلى تشن عدة تهم بينها السرقة واقتحام ممتلكات خاصة، أما منصات التواصل فاشتعلت بالتعليقات الساخرة، بينما عبّر آخرون عن قلقهم من ضعف الأمن في معارض السيارات.

According to the details of the story reported by the "South China" newspaper, Chen, who was visiting the city of Changsha, canceled his return flight ticket to his hometown worth $200. He took advantage of the weak security at some car dealerships and repair centers, breaking in at night to seize the keys from the drawers and drove each car until it ran out of fuel, moving between cities in stolen vehicles.
Chen traveled hundreds of kilometers this way until he was tracked down through surveillance cameras and records of stolen cars, and he was arrested in a province near his destination.
The authorities charged Chen with several offenses, including theft and trespassing on private property, while social media platforms were ablaze with sarcastic comments, as others expressed their concern over the weak security at car dealerships.
