طرحت ميتا ميزة «تلخيص الرسائل» الجديدة في تطبيق واتساب، وهي ميزة تستخدم الذكاء الاصطناعي لتقديم ملخص سريع للرسائل غير المقروءة في شكل نقاط مختصرة.
وتستند هذه الميزة إلى تقنية المعالجة الخاصة Private Processing، التي كشفت عنها ميتا بمؤتمر Llamacon في أبريل الماضي، وتُعد محاولة للحفاظ على خصوصية المحادثات مع تمكين الذكاء الاصطناعي من العمل داخل التطبيق.
وعند توفر الميزة في واتساب، ستظهر لافتة على المحادثات غير المقروءة مكتوب عليها «تلخيص بنحو خاص»، وبالضغط عليها، يقدم مساعد الذكاء الاصطناعي من ميتا Meta AI ملخصًا سريعًا للمحتوى. وتؤكد الشركة أن هذه التقنية لا تسمح للذكاء الاصطناعي أو لخوادم ميتا بقراءة البيانات الفعلية للمستخدمين أو تخزينها.
وأضافت الشركة أن الميزة ستكون متاحة مبدئيًا للمستخدمين في الولايات المتحدة باللغة الإنجليزية، مع خطط لتوسيعها إلى لغات ودول أخرى لاحقًا خلال العام.
وترى ميتا أن هذه الميزة ستكون مفيدة لمن يغيب لمدة عن هاتفه، أو يكون عضوًا في مجموعات دردشة كبيرة ونشطة.
ومع أن دقة الذكاء الاصطناعي في تلخيص الرسائل ما زالت محل نقاش، فإن الاستخدام المقترح قد يوفر وقتًا وجهدًا كبيرين.
وقالت الشركة إن الميزة اختيارية بالكامل، ولا تُفعّل إلا بطلب المستخدم، كما يمكن استثناء محادثات معينة من وصول الذكاء الاصطناعي إليها عبر إعدادات الخصوصية المتقدمة.

The company assures that this technology does not allow the AI or Meta's servers to read or store users' actual data.
The company added that the feature will initially be available to users in the United States in English, with plans to expand it to other languages and countries later in the year.
Meta believes that this feature will be useful for those who are away from their phones for a while or are members of large and active chat groups.
Although the accuracy of AI in summarizing messages is still a topic of discussion, the proposed use could save a significant amount of time and effort.
The company stated that the feature is entirely optional and is only activated at the user's request, and specific conversations can be excluded from AI access through advanced privacy settings.
