اضطرت طائرة تابعة للخطوط الجوية الهندية، من طراز بوينغ 787-8 دريملاينر، كانت متجهة من هونغ كونغ إلى نيودلهي، إلى العودة إلى مطار هونغ كونغ الدولي صباح (الإثنين) كإجراء احترازي بعد أن اشتبه الطيار في وجود مشكلة فنية أثناء الطيران، في واقعة بعد أيام قليلة من كارثة تحطم طائرة من الطراز نفسه في أحمد آباد، أثارت قلقاً متزايداً بشأن سلامة طائرات بوينغ دريملاينر.
وأقلعت الرحلة AI315، التي تشغلها طائرة بوينغ 787-8 دريملاينر مسجلة باسم VT-NAC وعمرها 7.7 سنة، من مطار هونغ كونغ الدولي في حوالي الساعة (9:46 صباحاً بتوقيت الهند)، وبعد نحو 30 دقيقة من الإقلاع، وبلوغ الطائرة ارتفاع 22 ألف قدم، رصد الطيار مشكلة فنية محتملة، ما دفعه إلى طلب العودة إلى هونغ كونغ، وهبطت الطائرة بسلام وتم إجلاء جميع الركاب وأفراد الطاقم بأمان دون تسجيل أي إصابات.
ووفقاً لبيان صادر عن شركة طيران الهند، عادت الطائرة إلى هونغ كونغ «بسبب مشكلة فنية»، وتخضع حالياً لفحوصات دقيقة كإجراء احترازي، ولم تكشف الشركة عن طبيعة العطل الفني، لكن مصادر وسائل إعلام هندية أشارت إلى أن فرقاً تقنية بدأت في فحص الطائرة لتحديد سبب المشكلة.
وأكدت سلطة مطار هونغ كونغ أن العمليات في المطار لم تتأثر، وأن الطائرة طلبت الاستعداد المحلي قبل الهبوط الآمن، وأنه تم ترتيب رحلات بديلة لنقل الركاب إلى وجهتهم في نيودلهي في أقرب وقت ممكن، مع تقديم المساعدة الأرضية لتقليل الإزعاج الناجم عن هذا التعطيل غير المتوقع.
تأتي هذه الحادثة بعد أيام فقط من كارثة تحطم طائرة بوينغ 787-8 دريملاينر تابعة لشركة طيران الهند (AI171) في أحمد آباد في 12 يونيو الجاري، التي كانت متجهة إلى لندن، وتحطمت الطائرة بعد دقائق من إقلاعها من مطار سردار فالابهاي باتيل الدولي.
وكانت حادثة الطائرة الهندية أسفرت عن مقتل 241 من أصل 242 شخصاً على متنها، إلى جانب 29 شخصاً على الأرض، في أسوأ كارثة طيران تشهدها الهند منذ عقد، ونجا راكب واحد فقط، بريطاني من أصل هندي، ويخضع حالياً للعلاج.

This incident occurred just days after a crash of the same model in Ahmedabad, raising increasing concerns about the safety of Boeing Dreamliners.
Flight AI315, operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner registered as VT-NAC and 7.7 years old, took off from Hong Kong International Airport at around 9:46 AM Indian time. After about 30 minutes of flight and reaching an altitude of 22,000 feet, the pilot detected a potential technical issue, prompting him to request a return to Hong Kong. The aircraft landed safely, and all passengers and crew members were evacuated safely with no injuries reported.
According to a statement from Air India, the aircraft returned to Hong Kong "due to a technical issue" and is currently undergoing thorough inspections as a precautionary measure. The airline did not disclose the nature of the technical fault, but sources from Indian media indicated that technical teams have begun examining the aircraft to determine the cause of the problem.
The Hong Kong Airport Authority confirmed that operations at the airport were not affected, and the aircraft requested local readiness before a safe landing. Alternative flights were arranged to transport passengers to their destination in New Delhi as soon as possible, with ground assistance provided to minimize the inconvenience caused by this unexpected disruption.
This incident comes just days after the crash of a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner operated by Air India (AI171) in Ahmedabad on June 12, which was heading to London. The aircraft crashed minutes after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.
The Indian Airlines incident resulted in the deaths of 241 out of 242 people on board, along with 29 people on the ground, marking the worst aviation disaster in India in a decade. Only one passenger, a British national of Indian origin, survived and is currently receiving treatment.
