شهدت محافظة أكساراي التركية، وبالتحديد بالقرب من وادي إهلارا، حادثة مأساوية اليوم الأحد، إذ تحطم منطاد هوائي، مما أسفر عن وفاة الطيار وإصابة 19 سائحًا.
وذكرت وسائل إعلام تركية محلية، أن الحادثة وقعت نتيجة تغير مفاجئ في اتجاه الرياح، مما أدى إلى فقدان السيطرة على المنطاد.
وأوضح محافظ أكساراي محمد علي قومبوز أوغلو، في بيان رسمي، أن المنطاد كان يحاول الهبوط الاضطراري بالقرب من قرية غوزلوكويو عندما تعرض لحادثة مروعة.
وأثناء محاولة الهبوط، سقط الطيار من سلة الركاب، وتعلقت قدماه بحبل، مما تسبب في احتجازه أسفل السلة.
وأضاف المحافظ: للأسف، توفي الطيار جراء الحادثة، فيما نُقل السياح المصابون إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج.
وتُظهر لقطات مؤلمة من مكان الحادثة المنطاد وهو منكمش على الأرض، بينما سلة الركاب ملقاة على جانبها. وهرعت فرق الطوارئ إلى الموقع لتقديم الإسعافات الأولية للمصابين ونقلهم للعلاج.
ولم يتم الكشف عن هوية الطيار أو السياح المصابين حتى الآن، فيما بدأت السلطات التركية تحقيقاتها لتحديد الأسباب الدقيقة للحادثة، ويُتوقع أن تركز التحقيقات على تقييم الظروف الجوية ومدى تأثيرها على سلامة الرحلة.

The Turkish province of Aksaray, specifically near the Ihlara Valley, witnessed a tragic incident today, Sunday, as a hot air balloon crashed, resulting in the death of the pilot and injuries to 19 tourists.
Local Turkish media reported that the incident occurred due to a sudden change in wind direction, which led to a loss of control of the balloon.
Aksaray Governor Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoglu stated in an official statement that the balloon was attempting an emergency landing near the village of Gözlüköy when it encountered the horrific accident.
During the landing attempt, the pilot fell from the passenger basket, and his feet became entangled in a rope, causing him to be trapped beneath the basket.
The governor added: "Unfortunately, the pilot died as a result of the incident, while the injured tourists were taken to the hospital for treatment."
Heartbreaking footage from the scene shows the balloon deflated on the ground, while the passenger basket lies on its side. Emergency teams rushed to the site to provide first aid to the injured and transport them for treatment.
The identity of the pilot and the injured tourists has not yet been disclosed, while Turkish authorities have begun their investigations to determine the exact causes of the incident, with investigations expected to focus on assessing the weather conditions and their impact on the safety of the flight.
