نعى نادي ساو باولو البرازيلي لاعبه ميكائيل لياندرو دا سيلفا الذي توفي عن عمر 15 عاماً بعد تعرضه لإطلاق نار أثناء بطولة لكرة القدم.
وقال ساو باولو في بيان رسمي عبر منصة التواصل الاجتماعي «x»: «ينعى نادي ساو باولو لكرة القدم بحزن بالغ وفاة ميكائيل لياندرو دا سيلفا التي وقعت (السبت) الأول من أغسطس 2026 في مدينة ماسيو بولاية ألاغواس. كان اللاعب يبلغ من العمر 15 عاماً».
وأضاف: «انضم ميكائيل إلى النادي في النصف الثاني من العام الماضي وبقي معنا حتى أبريل من هذا العام، مثل: فئتي تحت 14 وتحت 15 عاماً في كوتيا، وأسهم في التتويج بلقب كأس فيكتور تحت 15 عاماً لعام 2026».
وأفاد شهود عيان بأن اللاعب أصيب بطلق ناري قبل نقله إلى المستشفى العام بالولاية لكنه فارق الحياة متأثراً بإصابته. واختتم النادي بيانه بتقديم خالص التعازي إلى أسرة اللاعب وأصدقائه، مؤكداً تضامنه معهم في هذا المصاب الأليم.
ووفقاً للمعلومات الأولية الصادرة عن الشرطة المدنية في ألاغواس، فإن ميكائيل لم يكن الهدف المقصود بإطلاق النار، بل أُصيب عن طريق الخطأ، مؤكدة أنه لا توجد أي مؤشرات على تورطه في أنشطة إجرامية.
وأوضحت التحقيقات الأولية أن المسلح كان يستهدف رجلاً آخر كان يشارك في البطولة ما تسبب في حالة من الذعر بين اللاعبين والجماهير الحاضرة.
The Brazilian club São Paulo mourned its player Mikael Leandro da Silva, who passed away at the age of 15 after being shot during a football tournament.
São Paulo stated in an official announcement via the social media platform "x": "São Paulo Football Club mourns with deep sadness the death of Mikael Leandro da Silva, which occurred (on Saturday) August 1, 2026, in the city of Maceió in the state of Alagoas. The player was 15 years old."
It added: "Mikael joined the club in the second half of last year and stayed with us until April of this year, playing for the under-14 and under-15 teams in Cotia, and he contributed to winning the Under-15 Victor Cup title in 2026."
Eyewitnesses reported that the player was shot before being taken to the state general hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries. The club concluded its statement by offering heartfelt condolences to the player's family and friends, affirming its solidarity with them in this painful loss.
According to initial information released by the civil police in Alagoas, Mikael was not the intended target of the shooting but was accidentally hit, confirming that there are no indications of his involvement in criminal activities.
The preliminary investigations clarified that the gunman was targeting another man who was participating in the tournament, causing panic among the players and the attending crowd.
