وكان النادي قد أعلن عن إصابة 3 من لاعبيه، هم: نبيل عليوي (التواء في مفصل القدم، يحتاج 7–10 أيام)، وياكو ميتي (إصابة في العضلة الخلفية، يحتاج أسبوعين إلى 3 أسابيع)، ونور الرشيدي (إصابة في العضلة الأمامية، يحتاج 4–6 أسابيع).
ويعاني الفريق من بدايات صعبة هذا الموسم، إذ يملك نقطة واحدة فقط من التعادل مقابل 4 هزائم، سجل خلالها 5 أهداف واستقبل 14 هدفاً، محتلاً المركز الـ16 في جدول الدوري.
