أصبح ملعب «الإنماء» في مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية في جدة هو تميمة الحظ وملعب الأفراح للمنتخب السعودي، عقب أن نجح نجوم الأخضر في حسم بطاقة التأهل لنهائيات كأس العالم 2026 على أرضيته للمرة الثالثة على التوالي، إذ سبق للأخضر أن حسم تأهله إلى المونديال العالمي من أرضية ملعب «الإنماء» في 2018 أمام منتخب اليابان وفي 2022 أمام منتخب أستراليا.
وسبق للمنتخب السعودي أن خاض 20 مباراة على أرضية ملعب «الإنماء» منذ افتتاحه في 2014 ولم يخسر سوى في مباراتين منها.

The "Al-Inma" Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah has become the lucky charm and the celebration ground for the Saudi national team, after the stars of the Green successfully secured their qualification for the 2026 World Cup on its turf for the third consecutive time. The Green had previously secured their qualification for the global tournament on the grounds of "Al-Inma" Stadium in 2018 against the Japan national team and in 2022 against the Australia national team.
The Saudi national team has played 20 matches on the grounds of "Al-Inma" Stadium since its opening in 2014, losing only two of them.
