أشاد رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم، ياسر المسحل، بالنجاح الكبير الذي حققته بطولة كأس السوبر السعودي 2025، التي استضافتها هونغ كونغ، وتوّج الأهلي بلقبها على حساب فريق النصر.
وقال المسحل: «أبارك للنادي الأهلي وجماهيره التتويج المستحق على شقيقه نادي النصر».
وأضاف: «نحظى بدعم كبير من خادم الحرمين الشريفين وسمو ولي العهد –حفظهما الله–، كما نتوجه بخالص الشكر للقيادة الرشيدة وسمو وزير الرياضة على ما قدّموه من دعم ساهم في نجاح بطولة السوبر السعودي 2025 في هونغ كونغ، ولكل من أسهم في إنجاح هذا الحدث الرياضي المميز».
واختتم قائلاً: «إن نجاح السوبر السعودي 2025 يأتي ضمن خطط وإستراتيجيات رؤية المملكة 2030، وهذا النجاح لا يقتصر على كرة القدم فحسب، بل يشمل مختلف المجالات التي تسعى المملكة إلى التميز فيها».
The President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mashel, praised the great success achieved by the Saudi Super Cup 2025, which was hosted in Hong Kong, with Al-Ahli crowned the champion at the expense of Al-Nassr.
Al-Mashel said: "I congratulate Al-Ahli club and its fans on their well-deserved victory over their brother club Al-Nassr."
He added: "We enjoy great support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them – and we extend our sincere thanks to the wise leadership and the Minister of Sports for their support that contributed to the success of the Saudi Super Cup 2025 in Hong Kong, and to everyone who contributed to the success of this distinguished sporting event."
He concluded by saying: "The success of the Saudi Super Cup 2025 is part of the plans and strategies of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and this success is not limited to football alone, but encompasses various fields in which the Kingdom seeks to excel."
