يترقب عشاق الكرة السعودية نهائي كأس السوبر اليوم (السبت)، حيث يلتقي النصر والأهلي على ملعب هونغ كونغ الدولي الذي يتسع لنحو 40 ألف متفرج، في مواجهة يبحث خلالها الفريقان عن أول ألقاب الموسم الجديد.
المواجهة تحمل طابعاً خاصاً بين المدربين البرتغالي جورجي جيسوس مدرب النصر والألماني ماتياس يايسله مدرب الأهلي، إذ سبق أن التقيا ست مرات في الموسمين الماضيين، بواقع أربع مواجهات في الدوري، ومرة في السوبر، وأخرى في بطولة آسيا للنخبة. جيسوس حسم أول أربعة لقاءات (أحدها بركلات الترجيح)، فيما تفوق يايسله في آخر مباراتين.
النصر يخوض النهائي للمرة السابعة في تاريخه، بعد أن سبق له التتويج مرتين عامي 2020 و2021، ويسعى لانتزاع اللقب الثالث، بينما يدخل الأهلي المواجهة بطموح إضافة لقب ثانٍ بعد تتويجه الوحيد في نسخة 2016.
وجاء تأهل النصر إلى النهائي بعد فوزه على الاتحاد 2-1 في نصف النهائي الأول، فيما اكتسح الأهلي القادسية 5-1 في نصف النهائي الثاني. ويفتقد النصر في المباراة نجمه السنغالي ساديو ماني بعد طرده بالبطاقة الحمراء، وهو ما وصفه جيسوس بالخسارة الصعبة، مؤكداً أن فريقه سيتأقلم ويبحث عن البدائل.
في المقابل، يدخل الأهلي اللقاء بصفوف مكتملة تضم أسماء بارزة. وقال مدربه يايسله: «نطمح للتتويج باللقب، وندرك أن النصر عزز صفوفه بصفقات مميزة هذا الصيف».
Saudi football fans are eagerly awaiting the Super Cup final today (Saturday), where Al-Nassr will face Al-Ahli at the Hong Kong International Stadium, which has a capacity of about 40,000 spectators, in a match where both teams are looking for their first titles of the new season.
The clash has a special character between the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus of Al-Nassr and the German coach Matthias Jaissle of Al-Ahli, as they have previously met six times in the past two seasons, with four encounters in the league, one in the Super Cup, and another in the Asian Elite Championship. Jesus won the first four matches (one of them on penalties), while Jaissle triumphed in the last two matches.
Al-Nassr is competing in the final for the seventh time in its history, having previously won twice in 2020 and 2021, and is seeking to claim its third title, while Al-Ahli enters the match with the ambition of adding a second title after its only victory in the 2016 edition.
Al-Nassr reached the final after defeating Al-Ittihad 2-1 in the first semi-final, while Al-Ahli crushed Al-Qadisiyah 5-1 in the second semi-final. Al-Nassr will miss its star Senegalese player Sadio Mané in the match after he was sent off with a red card, which Jesus described as a tough loss, affirming that his team will adapt and look for alternatives.
On the other hand, Al-Ahli enters the match with a complete squad that includes prominent names. Its coach Jaissle said: "We aspire to win the title, and we know that Al-Nassr has strengthened its squad with outstanding signings this summer."
