According to informed sources, "Okaz" learned that the Ministry of Sports has prohibited the entry of members of the dissolved board of directors except with official permission from the Ministry of Sports. The committee formed by the Ministry of Sports summoned some individuals associated with one of the major public clubs, confirming their connection to the previous board, including former officials working at this club and a media figure with a direct relationship with some members of the dissolved council, after discovering significant financial deficits and manipulations in contracts of some employees.
Furthermore, "Okaz" learned that the Ministry of Sports has initiated direct communications with some well-known figures in Medina to take over the club during the current transitional period until the investigations are completed and results are issued.
For his part, the Vice President of Ohod Club and former basketball supervisor, Faiz Ayyash Al-Ahmadi, clarified that the club is going through a critical phase and we are waiting for the Ministry of Sports to appoint a management team capable of rescuing the club from its current situation, achieving the ambitions and aspirations of the loyal fans, and preserving what remains of its gains, preventing the football team from being relegated from the second division to the third, and ensuring that the basketball team does not drop from the first to the second division, as well as settling the club's accumulated debts that have prevented it from registering in both football and basketball, and hindering contracts for the technical staff of other sports. He stated, "The club needs everyone's support; because the previous administration has brought the club to a poor state in all aspects that it has never experienced before, and many messages were directed to them on various occasions, but they did not pay attention to them and squandered all the stars."
