تواجه اللجنة المنظمة لدورة ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي، التي ستُقام في الرياض خلال الفترة من 7-21 نوفمبر القادم، بمشاركة 57 دولة من أربع قارات، الكثير من الاستفسارات حول مستقبل المنتخبات المشاركة في البطولة، وكيف تم إعدادها، والميداليات المتوقع تحقيها لاسيما وأن هذه البطولة تعتبر إعداداً لدورة الألعاب الآسيوية التي ستحتضنها السعودية في عام 2034، إذ لم تعلن اللجنة الأولمبية إستراتيجيتها لهذا الحدث الإسلامي، بعكس الدورة الأولي التي استضافتها السعودية عام 2005، وحققت فيها المركز الأول برصيد 59 ميدالية منها 23 ميدالية ذهبية، و 17 فضية، و 19 برونزية.
يذكر أن اللجنة المنظمة سوف تنظم مؤتمراً صحفياً غداً الخميس بمناسبة «تبقّي 100 يوم» على انطلاق النسخة السادسة من دورة ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي، وسيقام المؤتمر في قاعة المحاضرات بمجمع الأميـر فيصل بن فهد الأولمبي، إذ يُعد ضمن الجدول الزمني للحدث، حيث يشهد حضور عدد من مسؤولي اللجنة المنظمة ومنسوبي اتحاد التضامن الإسلامي إلى جانب عددٍ من ممثلي وسائل الإعلام المحلية والدولية، وسيتم خلاله الكشف عن أحدث الاستعدادات التنظيمية واللوجستية، وأعداد الألعاب المدرجة، وتفاصيل مواقع المنافسات، إضافة إلى تسليط الضوء على الجوانب الفنية والتشغيلية للنسخة السادسة من الدورة.
ويُنتظر أن يسلّط الضوء على تطلعات المملكة لاستضافة دورة استثنائية، تُجسّد مكانتها في الساحة الرياضية الدولية، في ظل الدعم الكبير من القيادة الرشيدة، والمتابعة المباشرة من وزير الرياضة رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي الفيصل، حيث تعمل المملكة بوتيرة متسارعة لتنظيم نسخة تُجسّد قيم التضامن والتلاقي بين الشعوب الإسلامية، وتُبرز في الوقت ذاته الإمكانات التنظيمية والبنية التحتية المتطورة التي باتت تميز المملكة.

The organizing committee for the Islamic Solidarity Games, which will be held in Riyadh from November 7-21, with the participation of 57 countries from four continents, is facing many inquiries about the future of the participating teams in the championship, how they have been prepared, and the expected medals, especially since this championship is considered preparation for the Asian Games that Saudi Arabia will host in 2034. The Olympic committee has not announced its strategy for this Islamic event, unlike the first edition hosted by Saudi Arabia in 2005, where it achieved first place with a total of 59 medals, including 23 gold, 17 silver, and 19 bronze.
It is worth mentioning that the organizing committee will hold a press conference tomorrow, Thursday, to mark "100 days remaining" until the launch of the sixth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games. The conference will take place in the lecture hall at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex, as part of the event's schedule. It will witness the attendance of several officials from the organizing committee and members of the Islamic Solidarity Federation, alongside a number of representatives from local and international media. During the conference, the latest organizational and logistical preparations will be revealed, the number of included sports, and details about the competition venues, in addition to highlighting the technical and operational aspects of the sixth edition of the games.
It is expected that the spotlight will be on the Kingdom's aspirations to host an exceptional edition that embodies its position in the international sports arena, under the significant support of the wise leadership and the direct follow-up from the Minister of Sports, Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal. The Kingdom is working at a rapid pace to organize an edition that embodies the values of solidarity and meeting among Islamic peoples, while also showcasing the advanced organizational capabilities and infrastructure that have come to distinguish the Kingdom.
