تفوق فريق الأهلي على فريق تيرول النمساوي بهدفين لهدف، في افتتاحية لقاءاته الودية في معسكره الذي أقامه في النمسا، وأحرز هدفي الأهلي كل من روجيرو إيبانيز وويندرسون جالينو، وغادر الفريق بعد نهاية اللقاء لدولة إيطاليا للمشاركة في بطولة كأس كومو.
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية من فريق الأهلي الذي دخل مدربه الألماني ماتياس يايسله بتشكيلة مكونة من الحارس إدوارد ميندي وأمامه رباعي الدفاع ريان حامد وروجيرو إيبانيز وماتيو دامس وعبدالله العمار، وفي المحور الثنائي فرانك كيسيه وعيد المولد، وفي خط المقدمة فهد الرشيدي وخلفه الثلاثي ألكسندر غوميز وسميحان النابت ورياض محرز، وتعرض الظهير اليسر عبدالله العمار لإصابة مبكرة ليضطر معها المدرب يايسله لإخراجه وإشراك سعد بلعلبيد في الدقيقة 18 من الشوط الأول، وكان قبلها قد تعرض إيبانيز للإصابة ولكنه عاد للقاء بعد أن تم علاجه، وكاد تيرول أن يهز شباك الأهلي بعد تسديدة قوية تصدى لها الحارس إدوارد ميندي ومن ثم ارتطمت في القائم، ورد أليكساندر غوميز بتسديدة قوية ولكن الحارس أبعدها بصعوبة، ليرد الفريق النمساوي بهجمة مرتدة ولكن ميندي يتألق مجدداً ويتصدى للكرة، ومن كرة عادت من الدفاع النمساوي لتصل لفرانك كيسيه مررها لزميله رياض محرز الذي لعبها عرضية داخل منطقة الجزاء انبرى لها إيبانيز وغمزها داخل الشباك كهدف أول للأهلي (د: 35)، وبين الشوطين أجرى يايسله عدة تغييرات كانت أبرزها مشاركة الحارس البديل عبدالله عبده الذي تصدى لانفرادة للفريق النمساوي، وكذلك شارك البرازيلي ويندرسون جالينو والذي تمكن من إضافة الهدف الثاني بعد مهارة فردية راوغ فيها الدفاع النمساوي وسددها أرضية في الزاوية البعيدة على يسار الحارس كهدف ثانٍ للأهلي (د: 77)، وبعد دقيقتين تمكن فريق تيرول من تقليص النتيجة بإحرازه للهدف الأول (د: 79)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الأهلي بهدفين لهدف.

The Al-Ahly team triumphed over the Austrian team Tirol with a score of two to one, in the opening of their friendly matches during their camp held in Austria. Al-Ahly's goals were scored by Rogeiro Ibanez and Wenderson Galeno. After the match, the team departed for Italy to participate in the Como Cup.
The match witnessed a strong start from Al-Ahly, whose German coach Matthias Jaissle fielded a lineup consisting of goalkeeper Edward Mendy and a defensive quartet of Ryan Hamid, Rogeiro Ibanez, Matteo Dams, and Abdullah Al-Amar. In the midfield, there were the duo Frank Kessie and Eid Al-Mawlid, and in the forward line, Fahd Al-Rashidi was supported by the trio of Alexander Gomez, Samihan Al-Nabit, and Riyad Mahrez. Left-back Abdullah Al-Amar suffered an early injury, forcing coach Jaissle to substitute him with Saad Belalbid in the 18th minute of the first half. Prior to that, Ibanez had also sustained an injury but returned to the match after receiving treatment. Tirol nearly scored against Al-Ahly after a powerful shot that was saved by goalkeeper Edward Mendy and then hit the post.
