تلقى الأهلي المصري، أمس (الأربعاء) خطاباً رسمياً من الأخدود السعودي يطلب خلاله تحديد القيمة المالية للموافقة على التفاوض بشأن التعاقد مع لاعب الوسط الدولي إمام عاشور، ضمن استعدادات النادي السعودي لتدعيم صفوفه خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الجارية.
ووفقاً لتقارير صحفية مصرية، فإن الخطاب جاء في توقيت يتزامن مع بدء إدارة الأهلي مراجعة بنود عقد إمام عاشور تمهيداً لتعديله، تقديراً للمردود الفني اللافت الذي قدمه اللاعب منذ انضمامه إلى صفوف الفريق.
ورغم اهتمام الأخدود، تشير التقديرات إلى أن فرص إتمام الصفقة تظل ضئيلة في ظل تمسك الجهاز الفني للأهلي باستمرار عاشور، باعتباره أحد الركائز الأساسية في خط الوسط، حتى بعد عودة المالي أليو ديانغ من الإعارة، والتعاقد مع الدولي التونسي محمد علي بن رمضان.
يُذكر أن الأخدود أنهى الموسم الماضي في المركز الـ15 بجدول ترتيب الدوري السعودي للمحترفين «دوري روشن» برصيد 34 نقطة، ليضمن بقاءه في المسابقة بفارق نقطة واحدة فقط عن مراكز الهبوط.

The Egyptian Al-Ahly received a formal letter yesterday (Wednesday) from the Saudi Al-Akhidood requesting the financial value for agreeing to negotiate the contract of international midfielder Imam Ashour, as part of the Saudi club's preparations to strengthen its squad during the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to Egyptian media reports, the letter arrived at a time coinciding with the Al-Ahly management's review of Imam Ashour's contract terms in preparation for amendments, in appreciation of the remarkable technical performance the player has shown since joining the team.
Despite Al-Akhidood's interest, estimates suggest that the chances of completing the deal remain slim, given the coaching staff's insistence on retaining Ashour, considering him one of the key pillars in midfield, even after the return of Malian Aliou Dieng from loan and the signing of Tunisian international Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan.
It is worth noting that Al-Akhidood finished last season in 15th place in the Saudi Professional League "Roshen League" standings with 34 points, ensuring their survival in the competition by just one point above the relegation zone.
