A source close to Al-Ittihad Club has denied the news circulated by some foreign media and social media about the idea of parting ways with the Brazilian star Fabinho, who plays for the first football team, whether through loan or selling the remaining duration of his contract, which has one season left.

The source confirmed to "Okaz" that star Fabinho is one of the key players in the Al-Ittihad team and it is difficult to part with him in the upcoming season, during which the club is expecting four local championships (Saudi Super Cup, Roshn Saudi Pro League, and King’s Cup), and continental (AFC Champions League).

Fabinho contributed with his teammates to the Al-Ittihad team's achievements of the Roshn Saudi Pro League and King’s Cup titles last season.

It is worth mentioning that the Brazilian star Fabinho joined Al-Ittihad Club from Liverpool FC at the end of July 2023 on a three-year contract that will end in July 2026.
