أكد المدير الفني لريال مدريد تشابي ألونسو أن الظروف المناخية في مدينة ميامي لعبت دوراً واضحاً في التأثير على أداء فريقه خلال المواجهة التي جمعته بالهلال، في افتتاح مشوارهما ببطولة كأس العالم للأندية 2025.
وأوضح ألونسو، في المؤتمر الصحفي الذي أعقب المباراة، أن ارتفاع درجات الحرارة تسبّب في إرهاق عدد من اللاعبين، مشيراً إلى أن النجم البرازيلي فينيسيوس جونيور شعر بتقلصات عضلية نتيجة الإجهاد والطقس الرطب، وهو ما استدعى اتخاذ قرار بعدم المغامرة باستمراره. كما أشار إلى أن المدافع ماركو أسينسيو تأثر أيضاً بالأجواء، ما دفع الجهاز الفني لاستبداله خلال اللقاء.
وفي حديثه عن الفريق المنافس، شدد ألونسو على أنه لم يُفاجأ بمستوى الهلال، مشيداً بجودة عناصره وقدرتهم على تنفيذ أفكار مدربهم الجديد. مؤكداً معرفته بقوة الهلال، وأنه الفريق الأفضل في السعودية، ويمتلك مجموعة من اللاعبين المعروفين بقدراتهم المميزة.
وأتت تصريحات ألونسو لتسلط الضوء على صعوبة اللقاء، الذي انتهى بالتعادل الإيجابي 1-1، في وقت يواصل ريال مدريد خطواته الأولى مع مدربه الجديد نحو بناء منظومة فنية جديدة وسط تحديات كبيرة وظروف غير اعتيادية يمر بها النادي الملكي.

Alonso explained in the press conference that followed the match that the high temperatures caused fatigue for several players, noting that Brazilian star Vinícius Júnior felt muscle cramps due to the exhaustion and humid weather, which led to the decision not to risk his continuation. He also mentioned that defender Marco Asensio was affected by the conditions as well, prompting the coaching staff to substitute him during the match.
In discussing the opposing team, Alonso emphasized that he was not surprised by Al Hilal's level, praising the quality of their players and their ability to implement their new coach's ideas. He affirmed his awareness of Al Hilal's strength, stating that they are the best team in Saudi Arabia and possess a group of players known for their exceptional abilities.
