تأهل منتخبنا الوطني لكرة القدم تحت 23 سنة لنهائي بطولة تولون الدولية بعد فوزه على نظيره منتخب الدنمارك بنتيجة 4/ 3 في اللقاء الذي جمعهما على ملعب مارسيل روستان في نصف نهائي البطولة.
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية لمنتخبنا السعودي، وتمكن عبدالملك الجابر من هز الشباك مبكراً (د: 3)، ومن ثم أضاف القائد عبدالله رديف الهدف الثاني (د: 12)، ومن هفوة دفاعية تمكن الدنمارك من تقليص الفارق عن طريق جاستيف كريستين (د: 20)، وقبل نهاية الشوط الأول ومن مجهود فردي رائع أحرز منتخبنا الوطني الهدف الثالث عن طريق مشعل العلائلي (د: 45)، الذي عاد للتألق وأنقذ مرمى الأخضر من هدف محقق لينتهي الشوط الأول بتقدم المنتخب السعودي بثلاثة أهداف لهدف.
وفي الشوط الثاني واصل نجوم الأخضر تألقهم لاسيما عبدالملك الجابر الذي استلم الكرة على حدود منطقة الجزاء وراوغ الحارس الدنماركي وأسكن الكرة في الشباك كهدف رابع لمنتخبنا السعودي (د: 53)، ومن رأسية متقنة من اللاعب جوليس بيك قلص الدنمارك النتيجة بإحرازه الهدف الثاني (د: 63)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع احتسب حكم اللقاء ضربة جزاء لمنتخب الدنمارك أحرزها بنجاح اللاعب الكسندر (د: 90+4)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز منتخبنا الوطني بنتيجة 4/3.
وبهذه النتيجة يتأهل منتخبنا الوطني تحت 23 سنة لنهائي بطولة تولون الدولية المقامة حالياً في فرنسا، وسيخوض النهائي الأحد القادم أمام الفائز من لقاء فرنسا والمكسيك.

Our national football team under 23 has qualified for the final of the Toulon International Championship after defeating their Danish counterpart with a score of 4/3 in the match held at the Marcel Roustan Stadium in the semi-finals of the tournament.
The match witnessed a strong start from our Saudi team, with Abdul Malik Al-Jaber managing to score early (3rd minute), followed by the captain Abdullah Radeef adding the second goal (12th minute). Due to a defensive error, Denmark was able to reduce the gap through Justif Kristensen (20th minute). Just before the end of the first half, and after a wonderful individual effort, our national team scored the third goal through Mishal Al-Alailey (45th minute), who shone again and saved the green's net from a certain goal, ending the first half with the Saudi team leading three goals to one.
In the second half, the stars of the green continued to shine, especially Abdul Malik Al-Jaber, who received the ball at the edge of the penalty area, dribbled past the Danish goalkeeper, and placed the ball in the net for our Saudi team’s fourth goal (53rd minute). With a precise header from player Jules Beck, Denmark reduced the score by scoring their second goal (63rd minute). In stoppage time, the referee awarded a penalty to the Danish team, successfully converted by player Alexander (90+4 minutes), ending the match with our national team winning 4/3.
With this result, our national under 23 team qualifies for the final of the Toulon International Championship currently taking place in France, and they will face the winner of the match between France and Mexico next Sunday.
