كشفت مصادر خاصة لـ«عكاظ» من داخل الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم أنه تم إشعار الاتحاد الآسيوي، منذ (الأربعاء) الماضي، بإكتمال كافة الترتيبات اللازمة لاستقبال بعثة نادي الوصل الإماراتي في الرياض، كما أشعر الاتحاد الإماراتي لكرة القدم بالإجراءات المتخذة لإستقبال بعثة الفريق.
وأوضحت المصادر أن الترتيبات شملت كافة المتطلبات التنظيمية اللازمة لوصول بعثة الوصل، لخوض مواجهة النصر ضمن الجولة الثالثة من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، إلا أن الفريق الإماراتي لم يصل حتى الآن، رغم أن موعد وصوله كان مقرراً أمس.
وأضافت المصادر أن الاتحاد السعودي بادر بإشعار الاتحاد الآسيوي بالمستجدات، في إطار متابعة الموضوع عبر القنوات الرسمية بالتنسيق مع نادي النصر، فيما يُنتظر اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة من اللجان المختصة في الاتحاد الآسيوي، وفق اللوائح والأنظمة المعتمدة، في حال استمرار عدم وصول بعثة فريق الوصل.
Exclusive sources revealed to "Okaz" from within the Saudi Football Federation that the Asian Football Confederation was notified, since last (Wednesday), that all necessary arrangements have been completed to receive the delegation of Al-Wasl Club from the UAE in Riyadh. The UAE Football Federation was also informed of the measures taken to welcome the team delegation.
The sources clarified that the arrangements included all the organizational requirements necessary for the arrival of the Al-Wasl delegation to participate in the match against Al-Nassr in the third round of the AFC Champions League, but the UAE team has not arrived yet, despite the scheduled arrival time being yesterday.
Furthermore, the sources added that the Saudi Federation took the initiative to inform the Asian Federation of the latest developments, as part of following up on the matter through official channels in coordination with Al-Nassr Club, while it is expected that the necessary measures will be taken by the relevant committees in the Asian Federation, according to the approved regulations and systems, in case the Al-Wasl team delegation continues to not arrive.
