يبدأ فريق الأهلي المرحلة الثالثة والأخيرة من برنامجه الإعدادي للموسم الرياضي الجديد في إسبانيا، إذ سيخوض مواجهتين وديتين على مستوى عالٍ، الأولى أمام إلتشي الإسباني، يوم الجمعة القادم، تليها مواجهة العين الإماراتي يوم الثلاثاء 5 أغسطس القادم، في آخر اختبار قبل العودة إلى جدة.
وسيستهل الأهلي الموسم الجديد بمواجهة فريق القادسية يوم الأربعاء 20 أغسطس القادم الساعة 3:00 عصراً على استاد هونغ كونغ الدولي، ضمن دور نصف النهائي لكأس السوبر السعودي.
وأنهى الفريق الأهلاوي المرحلة الثانية بمعسكر إيطاليا، إذ شارك في البطولة الودية وخسر مباراتي كومو الإيطالي 1/3، وسيلتك الأسكتلندي بضربات الترجيح 5/3، بعد التعادل الإيجابي في الأشواط الأصلية 1/1.
وكان الفريق بدأ المرحلة الأولى في النمسا وكسب فريق تيرول النمساوي 1/2.
ويطمح المدرب ماتياس يايسله لتجهيز الفريق لبطولات الموسم الجديد محلياً وقارياً وعالمياً.

The Al-Ahli team begins the third and final phase of its preparatory program for the new sports season in Spain, where it will play two high-level friendly matches, the first against Elche of Spain next Friday, followed by a match against Al Ain of the UAE on Tuesday, August 5, in the final test before returning to Jeddah.
Al-Ahli will kick off the new season with a match against Al-Qadisiyah on Wednesday, August 20, at 3:00 PM at the Hong Kong International Stadium, as part of the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup.
The Al-Ahli team completed the second phase of its camp in Italy, participating in a friendly tournament where it lost to Como of Italy 1-3 and to Celtic of Scotland in a penalty shootout 5-3, after a 1-1 draw in regular time.
The team started the first phase in Austria, winning against Tyrol of Austria 2-1.
Coach Matthias Jaissle aims to prepare the team for the upcoming local, continental, and global tournaments of the new season.
